Have some friends in Jax who love it. My cousin lives there and is a big fan.We lived in Buford. I honestly hated ATL. I'm from Florida so it snowed once and it was the final straw lol so take that with a grain of salt. But the further away from the belt you get, the better. Gainesville, cumming, etc. But even then it's so crowded, nobody cares about anyone (typical big city) and it's corrupt as hell. Wasn't my cup of tea. Maybe if I didn't have kids, I would have liked it better? Idk. I missed the beach and I'm happy to be in st Augustine. So if Jax has any openings for your specialty, they are solid in the medical space with Mayo, Baptist, etc.
Yea. Why would Leach leave Starkville and go to a basketball school where he is second fiddle to whoever the basketball coach is?That is a lateral or almost lateral move..and I hope that never happens...Leach is the Joker in the SEC deck, you never know what will happen in a game he coaches.
What's the deal with the basketball players at Milton?
Wow. Unbelievable.
Sad no matter what. One was a George Mason signee? Right?Yeah, this was surprising. A lot of good players move into the Milton HS district because they have such a good sports program. I don't know if the 2 guys arrested grew up here or just moved here. Regardless, they were into drugs and killed a guy who was selling to them. Nice way to ruin the rest of your life!
Random, but since we are talking about living in/near Atlanta—how is it? I hate downtown Atlanta but wouldn’t mind moving to some nicer suburbs potentially
Understand what you're saying, but having spent time in Starkville and Lexington, from what I've seen Starkville is much more in line with Leach's style than Lexington. I have a feeling that he'll be comfy there and will stay till he retires and keep them hovering between 6-6 and 9-3 which will tickle them. A 10-15 year tenure winning 67% of your games and going to a bowl game almost every year is a legacy given State's history.Ever been to Starkville?
