Basically. He was rivals with, and taunting, someone you shouldn't taunt.

after he escaped the 100 shots incident unscathed, he released an album called Bulletproof (can't wait to see people quote this and get a laugh out of that one) with the song list calling out his rivals. A few months later he was shot again.

From today:

Yo Gotti or someone near him will probably be investigated again, but I don't think anyone will go to jail. Sad day in Memphis, might be a rough couple of weeks/months there too.

And this is why I don’t live in my home town.
Memphis is a great place to be from…😐

Keeper is the last of the 11 guys that failed on the field. As someone who played in college, I rarely blame the keeper for a goal. The only time, and @Smyrna ATL Vol can probably endorse this, that I will blame a keeper is when zero effort is put in to make the save. Otherwise 10 other guys failed to lead to that moment. Remind him of that.

My other piece of advice is for your son to take control of the defensive positions. Manage them. Be the voice and leader and move them like his own pieces. Talk to them about what he sees because he has the best seat in the house. 2-3 guy break is unacceptable and the defense is moving too high and probably flat footed.

Anyone know what the song is? TIA

Is it really that bad?

If I had never read and loved the books I would think it was a typical "meh" modern show. Knowing the books, it is F'ing awful. Only loosely resembles the story and all of the changes are bad ones rooted in either making it more PC millennial friendly or trying to move the plot along too fast.

Words can't describe how angry I was watching it. Imagine if the LoTR movies changed nearly every characters race, personality, sexualized them in strange and unnecessary ways and then made some of the main characters very unlikable. You can tell these arrogant prick show runners think they know what people want in a story better than Jordan did. I would want to assault them if I ever saw them.

eh I watched the first two episodes last night and I enjoyed it enough. It’s not the best thing ever but I’ll definitely finish the series

Have you read the books? If not or if you weren't majorly into them then I can see this take. Fans of the series will be furious.

Get ready for them to do the same **** the upcoming LoTR series...

Random, but since we are talking about living in/near Atlanta—how is it? I hate downtown Atlanta but wouldn’t mind moving to some nicer suburbs potentially
If I had to do it over, I would choose Newnan or Peachtree City. Newnan is an absolutely lovely town with everything you need and their downtown is great for food, drinks and entertainment in the evening.

I still can't "cut" as sharply on my right side from a HAS in high school. Playing through that injury was miserable.

Probably needed surgery…that happens much quicker now. They even put pressure on it and do two MRI scans to determine the level of injury. Sometimes can be determined with plan X-rays stressed and non stressed views.
Treatment for the high ankle sprain has come a long way over the past decade.

I live in Milton on the north side. You can find about anything you are looking for in this area. There is still rural property and you are near good schools, dining, and shopping.
What's the deal with the basketball players at Milton?
Wow. Unbelievable.

Happy Friday Volnation. Enjoy the weekend, enjoy being bowl eligible tomorrow, enjoy meeting up and having a fun time in a bowl game, enjoy seeing some younger guys get a lot of work tomorrow, and enjoy the fact that I honestly don't think we will suck much longer. Most of all, enjoy the weekend with family or friends and be safe.
Thanks to Coach Heupel and his staff...we already don't "suck". We are at least a good team...we are definitely not a really good team, but we are also definitely not sucky this year.

Sucky was all those selfish, unmotivated mercenary, lazy quitter filled 5-7, 4-8 and 3-7 teams we have had to endure since 2008.

This team fights to the bitter end, they leave everything they have on the field and they ferociously destroy lesser teams like they are supposed to.

This is a true Tennessee Volunteer team.

I do not drink, but it really is a nice town to live in. Senoia is exploding due to the movie industry. Really everywhere is exploding around here.

Thanks for all the replies ATLers. We are still about 2 years away from making that decision. We’ve moved around a lot and have lived in TN and the Carolinas. Wife and I are both physicians so lots of factors to consider while I’m finishing my sub specialty training
What will be your specialty?

We lived in Buford. I honestly hated ATL. I'm from Florida so it snowed once and it was the final straw lol so take that with a grain of salt. But the further away from the belt you get, the better. Gainesville, cumming, etc. But even then it's so crowded, nobody cares about anyone (typical big city) and it's corrupt as hell. Wasn't my cup of tea. Maybe if I didn't have kids, I would have liked it better? Idk. I missed the beach and I'm happy to be in st Augustine. So if Jax has any openings for your specialty, they are solid in the medical space with Mayo, Baptist, etc.

If Stoops did leave Lexington their best option in my opinion would be to go all in on Mike Leach.
That is a lateral or almost lateral move..and I hope that never happens...Leach is the Joker in the SEC deck, you never know what will happen in a game he coaches.
