The team must have completely quit on Mullen and they pulled the trigger in the hopes that an inspired roster could still get to bowl eligibility to help the incoming coach.

Is Florida a better job than LSU? If so they are sitting at the top of the totem pole for this coachin carousel.

Maybe I'm being a homer. If the bowl selection is a choice between UK and the Vols, I have to think they pick the Vols. We beat UK, our fan base travels better than just about anyone in the country, and our offense is a hot-topic and something everyone wants to see in action. I don't think UK can overcome our draw.
I agree but AP said there’s a rule that says you can’t jump a team that has two more wins than you for bowl preference. I had never heard of that before. So hope that Louisville beats UK next week.

No way Urban leaves Jax and returns, right?

I don't think so but they'll try like hell to get him.

The more I look at Jacksonville's situation, and their LOADED amount of picks for the 2022 draft, the more I think he may stick it out if they don't fire him.

Aside from that, I think he tried to leave and eventually left Florida because of the pressure and the fact that he built an absolutely unruly team there. 2 championships in 3 years is already best case scenario. Hard to match that in the Saban-era. Why would he go back?
