Thanks Jimmy.... just making a statement as to how great our offense would be for any WR wanting to get noticed and wondered why at this point we don't have higher-tiered guys knocking on our door now (above 3*'s) that we are this far along in the season...

Our offense has been really fun, but none of our WRs are top 25 in the country in any stats. So while the opportunity is there to sell, it's not like we just had this crazy mind blowing can't miss season for stats.

I forget what the beef was between Mizzou and UF from last year, but we owe the Gators a decade worth of needling from Spurrier’s time there.

Florida played Missouri during Halloween week last year.

Dan Mullen, being a generally strange human, came out in a Darth Vader costumer (Halloween) for the post-game presser. Everyone just laughed about it because it was Dan being weird, and that's just how he is.

I don't think ANYONE tied it to Mullen poking fun at Missouri or their staff directly. Like, at all.

Eli Drinkwitz:

Apparently, Drinkwitz still held a grudge from this:

And how Mullen (unprofessionally) came back out on the field from the locker room to get the fans riled up.

It's kind of strange, because it looks like it's started by a Missouri player. Mullen seeks out Drinkwitz to shake his hand and try to calm things down, and then they play the whole second half. They seemed to talk it out after the game too, just fine.

Even still, I guess dressing up like Darth Vader was a bridge too far.

This is what I dont understand? Why does money have to be on the line? Cant it be competitive by its very nature?
Without money on the line people behave in a way that’s not reasonable or predictable because it increases, to some extent, the likelihood of winning when there’s no risk to counterbalance.

That is how its always been here. Just watch , if Rivals or 247 has us 19 then that is who they roll with and swear up and down the other 2 does not evaluate right.
You make that sound unreasonable and us as unique in that process. How’s that working out?

Because he's from the Saban tree and has beat a bunch of mediocre teams at Louisiana.

Facts: his only P5 win at Louisiana was an overrated ISU team in a covid year.

He got 20 balled by a terrible 4 win Texas team this year.

He barely skated by Arky State by 1 pt.

He's an "offensive" guy yet they're 65th in total offense.

Lastly, he name searches himself on twitter and blocks anybody with even the slightest amount of negative critisism. He's insecure. If you're not comfortable in your skin, you're not going to make it in this league.
If only there was evidence of how this works out.

Not trying to be mean to anyone struggling with weight that attends games but damn, at the UGA game I sat next to a father and son that should have had to easily buy 4-6 seats for just themselves. No thanks. I’ll stay home and enjoy my view from the couch or recliner.
I had the same experience at the garth show in Neyland. Where sitting by the tunnel entry so there was a concrete wall at one end.. the bench had 8 numbers on it but the space was filled up with 6 butts. Last 2 people there got mad. In my row a guy told me I needed to move down so he could get in. I got up showedhim my a$$ was centered on my number and I could not move.

Saw thread in FF that this weekend will likely be last chance to get 100,000+. I am sad about it being the end of an era, but it’s also inevitable. Fitting 80-85k comfortably with nicer amenities and chair backs around the entire stadium will ultimately compete better with the at home experience. Most of the winning schools like Bama, LSU, and Ohio St with 100,000+ seats can’t even fill up anymore. Neyland can keep the same configuration and still appear like the majestic cathedral we love.
I mean it was never a true 100,000 anyways and those bleacher seats suck big time

Hahaha...Dan Mehlan "beefing" with Drinkwitz thru Star Wars jabs, just might be the biggest rumble since

Thanks for the recap. Sounds like Drinkwitz is trying to generate a rivalry with UF, and it’s still sad to me that Mizzou is in a better position to do that than we are.

Also, lulz:

He's a good recruiter who will build a good staff and get out of the way. Simple as that.
