Declare? He has no body of work to get drafted high enough. He would be a free agent at best. Reduced to the practice squad if he did make a team. Then probably cut by the end of the preseason.

We shall see. I wouldn't advised him of the direction he is taking but again, I don't know what his plan is nor what is causing him to enter the portal.

There have been plenty of UDFA to make NFL rosters and good money so maybe he is not worried too much about being drafted. We all just speculating at this point.
