Saban tested positive and then retested last year before the game and coached against UGA. I know it is Lord Saban though…I found this in an NCAA release from Aug. 4:
States a 10 day quarantine is required:
Any players and staff members who test positive for COVID-19, regardless of their vaccination status, should isolate for 10 days and wait to rejoin the team until at least 24 hours have passed without having a fever. Players should avoid exercise during isolation, under the policy.
If Wright can be patient and get into those second and third levels it’s a wrap for the defense.Evans is really good, but I think Small is too. Add in Wright with homerun potential and I think we will be ok in the run game of the line blocks well. It does put a little more on Milton's shoulders though
I appreciate it. And it’s ok, the nugs are literally never good around here so we are all used to it unfortunately. Some small depressing nugs: I’ve been told that he heard that ncaa rules require him to sit 10 days…… doesn’t know anything about BY eligibility….. cooper is expected to start…..Unless something has changed…. Beckwith is way down the depth chart and he doesn’t him to play much at all if any….. this is just info from others in the program bc he is not there at practice Tuesday through Thursday….will let you all know any updates as I hear them.
Amazing how this rule did not apply to Saban. I guess he just called Emmert and told him this is how it would be, and Emmert said yes sir. Also amazing how we do not hear of any players out at Bama from positive tests. I guess Tuscaloosa is Covid free due to the stinch down there.I found this in an NCAA release from Aug. 4:

John Brice on Basilio hinting at covid concerns for Tiyon Evans and his availability Saturday.
This is negative.
It's about a key player I'm excited to see play.
This is Tennessee football.
Based on these facts, I will accept this as the gospel truth and I will assume Evans will not be playing this Saturday.
I'll also go ahead and assume he's doubtful for the foreseeable future.
Next man up! Go Vols!
Anthony Richardson is the guy now.Just completed watching the Florida/FAU game and Florida is very beatable this season. They are not Florida of the past, if people are questioning Milton they should go take a look at Emory Jones. We obviously have some work to do with taking care of Pitt and TN Tech but if we go into that game 3-0 i’m confident we will come out of the swamp 4-0.
