With all that said Zach Evans (if his mind is right) is also one of the best talents in the country.

Zach Evans is the best(most talented) running back in the country. If you break down his stats, he actually rushed 621 yards in just 5 games he actually saw real time in last year.

I said in October if Evans could come to UT as a feature back he’d be a heisman candidate. Hopefully we get to find out next season.

Would be a one and done minus any injury. Impact would offset any drama imo. Very few players like that. He works hard and plays hungry…that’s the difference. I flew too close to the sun on Gibbs it seems. We have to up our NIL game.

True story. Then when I became a fan. Grew up in PA so most of my friends and family were NFL fans. Joined the Air Force and lived in Texas and Virginia and didn't have a college team I rooted for. Moved to Johnson City in 2006 and went to my first Vols game in 2010 (3rd Saturday in October). Got hooked and bought season tickets in 2015. Only thing that's changed is I moved to Chattanooga two years ago and also moved my season tickets.

I'm not a lifer like some of you but I'm a Vol 'til I fall!

I think that was the post that got me seriously addicted to reading this message board. You guys were in the throes of a coaching search, messages were accumulating by 20-30 pages per hour, and I was following the comments about this aged, mute poster called Neyland Rising, working his or her way through the backlog and handing out likes on comments that were several days old. I'd had a couple or three drinks and was perusing this thread late at night and suddenly I saw his practically uninterpretable first statement, just a newly synthesized word that somehow invoked the current state of that debacle and the hoped for outcome. That's the hardest I've ever laughed at a message board, couldn't stop for 20 minutes. Maybe the best post ever written here.

Pretty sure that Beat Bryant never beat Vols as KY coach

He never beat Neyland while he was there, but he did finish in the top 25 a total of 5 times in 8 seasons and had a 60-23-6 record. Stoops couldn’t carry the bruises Neyland laid on Bear’s backside.
