VFLTrue story. That's when I became a fan. Grew up in PA so most of my friends and family were NFL fans. Joined the Air Force and lived in Texas and Virginia and didn't have a college team I rooted for. Moved to Johnson City in 2006 and went to my first Vols game in 2010 (3rd Saturday in October). Got hooked and bought season tickets in 2015. Only thing that's changed is I moved to Chattanooga two years ago and also moved my season tickets.
I'm not a lifer like some of you but I'm a Vol 'til I fall!
Bama money guys care more than ours...this NIL crap may be the death of us after all is said and done. Texas boosters is over here talking about raising 150 mil to pay players, and we get f'n crickets out of ours.I’m confused by your wordsmithing @butchna, flew too close to the sun on Gibbs? Over confident now?
Gibbs…maybe everything that had me all pumped. Good thing is Heupel knows what’s needed, but will that happen?I’m confused by your wordsmithing @butchna, flew too close to the sun on Gibbs? Over confident on Gibbs or Evans? I popped all this popcorn.
Wonder how long that is sustainable when you are paying for five wins? It’s not hard to fathom how scattered Tennessee is when it comes to getting businesses and boosters to set up NIL Funding. Look how many different directions this program has been pushed and pulled by those same people.
Smh
Bijan Robinson at Texas is already a millionaire off his NIL deals. LOL
he’s been made a spokesman for DAZN boxing.
Texas seems to be serious about the move to the SEC---$10M has been pledged to their NIL program so they should start bringing in the big guns now----especially since OU is quickly going down the toilet. They fought each other for the top recruits for years
