So with 10 bluechips back there...he put up a bottom 4 SEC secondary the last 2 years lolol. He's not adjusted well and Heupel gonna break the poor guy's spirit

I think it’s funny that we always tend to think guys are great coaches just bc they coached at the same school that is loaded with talent…. It reminds me of how we have acted when we get an Alabama coach on staff….Rodney Garner is one of the few coaches I am 100% sure is a lot better than most other coaches.

Raymond a big hire for gators but they never really had trouble landing elite DBs anyway. Napier will recruit well once settled in. I don’t know that he is being smart risking this initial class for his process. Unless he thinks he will make up for it through transfer portal. His bigges potential mistake is being the offensive play caller.

The problem is what are they going to do about it? and who are they going to punish?

The school?
The third parties that setup the deals?
The kids?

Which in my head, I'm assuming the coaches aren't dumb enough to be setting up deals in any traceable form.... which might not be a safe assumption.

Make the kids transfer or decommit or whatever. Make it to where they can't play for that school. It's supposedly why we lost so many. Other schools should have to face what we faced. And hit the school for failing in the compliance department.

Unless he has gotten a lot better at it and he suddenly is a great QB coach because he is good at WRs then maybe but heck of a move to decide to call your own plays and be your own QB coach when your a WR coach that hasn’t been a successful play caller in past..

I’m all for Hc that excel as play callers to call their own plays. I actually don’t like when they give it up. Napier ain’t among the elite at doing that though

I do not like early signing period.

It’s the main reason coaches were getting fired Mid-season like they were. Bad for the teams, bad for the sport. Unintended consequence that can be easily fixed here.
