I'll be shocked if Dabo is there next year, think he's waiting on the NFL to call. And none of those jobs will open up until after the first of the year.

NFL has started to hire college coaches more often and Dabo has expressed annoyance with how the college game is changing, was decked out in Raiders gear in Vegas, and just had his entire staff nearly gutted. If he's going this could be the time to do it.

If he can stay healthy. I agree. And Flowers is a better player than he gets credit. I think Tank is more of a reliability. But we need depth bad. Charles is starting next year anyways.

Exciting group, seemed like the one group of players that really were all bought in and had no drama. Young guys got reps, experienced guys played more time, and most the interviews made anyone interviewed in that group all sound like they were speaking the same philosophy.

Theo and AT both are gone either way, Flowers returning would be good IMO as you said he doesn't get as much credit as he deserves.

But with all these guys all having at least 2 years of eligible left could really see the secondary turn into an elite positional group.

News from Clemson 247 mods…Dabo is promoting from within for DC and OC jobs.

It’s Goodwin/Conn as co-coordinators.

Goodwin calls the plays. That’s who Dabo is promoting/hiring. It’s done.

Goodwin is currently an off field analyst and Conn is the Safeties coach.

The speculation is Streeter will be promoted from QB coach to OC.

All 3 of those coaches (well, perhaps not Rhule) have demonstrated a level of technical, Xs and Os skill that is attractive to NFL teams. In fact, I think Kingsbury is on record as saying he doesn't particularly like recruiting and is more of a mad scientist-type.

As @Cosmo Kramer said, Dabo is a hype man and recruiter. I don't think he knows much at all about technical football and is very heavily reliant (more so than other college coaches) on assistants to do that, especially on defense.

I don't think Dabo, in any way, is an NFL coach. He doesn't seem to bring much to the table in terms of an NFL skill set. His shtick would wear thin so quickly in NFL locker rooms even if the team was winning.

Interesting thing about this is I listen to The Game here in Atlanta (yea, I know but it's better then what 96 Rock has become) in the mornings and they have been talking a lot about how badly Kirby has managed the QB situation this year and previous years (Fromm over Justin Fields). They believe (and lots of fans call in and complain about it) that Kirby has completely mismanaged TJ Daniels situation by starting Stenson Bennett and by not even playing JT Daniels in any games leading up to the SEC Championship and playoffs. Most of them don't believe that Bennett can beat Bama in the championship game and that Kirby needs to start JT. They do think they will beat Michigan regardless of the QB that plays.

Charles and Rucker definitely could potentially be an elite Safety duo with their athleticism and speed.

Streeter I get although the offense could use some fresh ideas and concepts. DC is a massive downgrade.
