Certainly pleased with Heupel and co year 1. I think they exceeded everyone’s expectations on the field. Recruiting certainly has to get better to compete for championships, as Xs and Os will only get you so far. However, we’re nowhere near that yet in our program trajectory.

We also don’t know how much the NCAA stuff has affected this class. I know it’s a downer that it feels like we’re striking out, but we’re honestly doing better than I expected given the circumstances.

Right now in the East, UGA is far and away ahead talent wise and that’s not changing. UF is getting closer to mid tier talent given Mullen’s recruiting and their transition class this year. I know some are ahead in the rankings, but we’re essentially recruiting on par with S Car, UK, and Mizzou. Not a huge difference between 10-20 classes when you dig into it. Vandy is Vandy.

Pick up a few portal instant impact guys and we’re still on track to keep moving the program forward. Beat the 4 East teams we should and maybe pick off UF next year and we’ll all be pleased. I know we all want instant gratification, but based off where this program has been for the past decade plus, it’s all about incremental improvement to me.

I’ve thought it has been incredibly slow and boring, but I haven’t watched Sundays episode yet, getting ready to start it.

I’m so tired of Jimmy’s storyline… I don’t care about it at all and they need to either bring it back full circle to something important or stop wasting time on it.

Also tired of Lloyd and Walker…

Question:

What’s better: a high-school senior signee or a redshirt-freshman transferee?
Depends, but the RS-FR is a year older/wiser, probably humbled from his failure at the previous school, probably has a chip on his shoulder, and has a year of college weight training on someone else's dime.

Correct. It’s a different game now than even a year ago. Your success is no longer tied to your traditional recruiting successes, and your fate is no longer sealed on signing day.

I agree with this.

Beat Florida and finish 2nd/3rd in the East. Get clear from the NCAA. Build relationships with future recruits like we've already started doing for 23'.

Steady climb.

Explain that last part to me, not sure what the reasoning is and I'm curious.

Not sure what the max numbers are, but if we fill up on HS recruits, then we have no options if/when proven transfers hit the portal. At this point, we still need immediate help at some positions, in order to have a chance at a really good season next year.

An employee asked for a selfie TikTok with a celebrity while the celebrity was having lunch with his family.

In the midst of it, he turns to the celebrity and says “You know you are a POS right?” The celebrity smiles and turns away.

The employee posts this on TikTok and gets a ton of positive feedback, because this is acceptable when you want it to be but atrocious when you decide it is too, so whatevs… The employee is fired and now is all surprised that this has happened.

2021, folks
He is a multi millionaire in a completely untaxed industry not opening his doors to flood victims in Houston. A plumber also just found $600,000 stuffed in his walls but wahhhhh a Tik Tok. 😢
