Tennessee wide receiver Cedric Tillman said he has decided whether he will return in 2022 and will announce it soon.
"I'm still kind of thinking about it a little bit. But for the most part, (the decision) is made," Tillman said Tuesday after practice. "An announcement will be coming out soon. I'll let you guys know."
Tillman, a redshirt junior, is having the best season of his career. But he has two years of eligibility remaining because of the COVID exempt year. He could declare for the NFL Draft to capitalize on his breakout year or return next season, like quarterback
Hendon Hooker announced he will do.
"(Hooker's decision) definitely weighed into my decision," Tillman said. "Me and Hendon talked. But we both respect (the approach of) like, 'Hey, do what's best for you.' "
