What a load of crap. I’m glad as anyone that Pruitt is gone but he killed in TN in 2020 taking 7 of the state’s 12 four stars. We hired a guy who turned a 13-0 program into a 6-4 team and people think the problem is Pruitt. Riiight. We can thank Pruitt for most of the recruiting struggles this year. He told coaches and players throughout Tennessee they weren’t good enough and he couldn’t win with Tennessee players.
This is how we get great Recruiting classes: WIN games. Our schedule next year is VERY manageable. It might be even slightly easier than this year considering which games are home/away. I think winning 9 games is a very realistic possibility with the current roster we have especially with returning a Heisman-caliber QB if he stays healthy.
If we win 9 games in the regular season in YEAR 2 (!) recruiting will solve itself. We’re not going to dig ourselves out of this hole overnight. It’s up to the coaches to use the talent we have and win some very winnable games against teams going through coaching changes to get us to 9 wins.
Do that and everything will be fine and you likely get a Top-10 recruiting class in 2023 because of it.
Good grief. First it was we have to get rid of Pruitt. Then we are losing all our players and can’t get a coach. Then it was we don’t have a QB and not enough players on defense to get through a game. Then it was we don’t have enough players on the offensive line with injuries. Then we had no pass rush. Then we had no DBs. After ALL that we went 7-5 with a chance to win 8 in year one of a disaster with a new coach!!!!!!!!!!!!! And a year later y’all are screaming about a few players that had no intention of coming here, most of which were committed somewhere else, picking who everyone said they would. Can’t you be thankful for good coaches and the good players we got, with free agency in the portal????

If TN beats Florida next year. I will pull a @Kingston Vol and disappear. Won't make a new account either.
LSU still has way too much talent and while Kelly is an ******* he isn't isn't worst coach I've ever seen.
