Can't defend Heup's recruiting until more evidence comes in.
But my goodness, seems like it went from "can't judge until '23, doubt we sniff top 20" to "what a fail", at record speed.

As stated, he's not recruiting his way out of this hole. His future, our future, will be determined on the field.
He'll either win until it's attractive to recruits, ala Clemson or he'll be replaced. Speculation is the heart of message boards but none of us know yet.
Not going to waste the time until then worrying myself to death. Just gonna watch some football, especially if it stays as fun as it's been so far.

He was on everyone's 'short list', and could've named his job the last two seasons. I think he's waiting on OSU regardless. It's a win-win if the timing works out this offseason - he can coach his playoff team and transition to OSU should Day bolt for the NFL.

Well I would say its playing time, chance to be part of a family atmosphere, good education, facilities, and student support. More specifically seems we may be getting it handed to us on the NIL stuff, esp is what De1 is saying is true. If we are not closing on kids because of inability to overcome objections based on the investigation, then, that pitch needs to change. Involve Plowman. She started this ********, let her help get us out of it.

What a load of crap. I’m glad as anyone that Pruitt is gone but he killed in TN in 2020 taking 7 of the state’s 12 four stars. We hired a guy who turned a 13-0 program into a 6-4 team and people think the problem is Pruitt. Riiight.

The smarter thing would have been to hire the 13-0 Scott Frost, who's elevated Nebraska all the way from 4-8 to 3-9 in only 4 years!
