What a load of crap. I’m glad as anyone that Pruitt is gone but he killed in TN in 2020 taking 7 of the state’s 12 four stars. We hired a guy who turned a 13-0 program into a 6-4 team and people think the problem is Pruitt. Riiight.
Don't take this the wrong way, but this might very well be the dumbest, most trolling comment you've ever made on VN.

did you think Tn would be doing as good as they are in recruiting before the season started? I thought 20-25 before the season started.
Always think 15-20 should be the hard floor for any UT Y1 HC. The rebuild sell is easy and UT sells itself.

But these are anomalous times too...so if we fail to hit a top 20, well it will at least make sense. But being behind UK...Mizzou(?) would suck.

Forget freshmen and signees. Crush the portal.

Go get Diabute for ILB
Go get Copeland for WR
Go get Verse
Add another guard/tackle
Add a safety
Add a DT

Signees add Williams, Moten, Jacas, and West/Pearce.

Needs filled.
I'd agree if it's our second option then it is what it is.

But I also hate the thought of so much of a class being gone, on average, after just 2 years.

I think it's good for the short-term but you're right back to point A shortly after. If we're going transfer heavy, then we really have to kill it on the field even moreso ASAP because there's not much future being built at that point. Gotta hit 9+ wins or 8+ with a big upset and hope that pours into HS crooting and building something sustainable.

Had to do a lot of joist repair when I flipped houses. You may be very experienced but if not familiar and have any questions after surveying the inside I'll help any way I can.

Sorry to hear and hopefully it's cosmetic. Good luck!

The NCAA stuff was dealt with when UT cleaned house with Pruitt and Company. Any further penalties are not going to be super serious
That doesn't really deal with the instution though. The entity will still be punished.

Maybe not "super serious" but I'd say far ranging. Far ranging but pretty dull. That's my guess at least.

Good grief. First it was we have to get rid of Pruitt. Then we are losing all our players and can’t get a coach. Then it was we don’t have a QB and not enough players on defense to get through a game. Then it was we don’t have enough players on the offensive line with injuries. Then we had no pass rush. Then we had no DBs. After ALL that we went 7-5 with a chance to win 8 in year one of a disaster with a new coach!!!!!!!!!!!!! And a year later y’all are screaming about a few players that had no intention of coming here, most of which were committed somewhere else, picking who everyone said they would. Can’t you be thankful for good coaches and the good players we got, with free agency in the portal????
Bless their hearts.

That’s pure conjecture. See the problem is the NCAA can decide at any moment to act. You don’t think that recruits are being told that? You don’t think coaches aren’t telling recruits that TN could get hammered? Of course they are. We like to think that the NCAA won’t do anything. But we don’t know for sure.

It's hard for anyone to know for sure, but I am pretty sure Ace has some connections in the college coaching business.

Don't invert houses, don't have to fix the joist. Simple. Simple.

The exception not the rule
Except that exception occurred this year with this staff that DEVELOPED. Same with Matthew Butler, Same with Omari Thomas, Theo Jackson. You're calling them throw away players without giving these kids or coaches the first chance even though they just showed in 10 months what was possible.

Not sure why some of you even torture yourselves this way.

Some of these odds are hilarious. Spencer Rattler at 7/1 after his HORRIBLE year at Oklahoma and now transferring to a team with skill players that pale in comparison to the Sooners.

JT Daniel couldn't beat out Stetson Bennett, but he's got 18/1 odds?

And DJ Ukelele is trash. Did they watch that Clemson offense this year?

But, Hendon Hooker, is 40/1. Ha. Okay.

I might put a $100 spot on it. F it, why not.
