As Eric Cain said last night, transfers are a bandaid, not a long time solution. They certainly help us as Hooker and Velus have, and we should get the ones that we need. But you can't live and die off of transfers. 4 year players are still the way to go and always will be. A lot of transfers are 1 year players. You can't build a team with transfers.
a lot of transfers have more than 1 year of eligibility, especially now compared to 5 years ago.

Using a 2 year “bandaid” is just fine for the time being when we have so many holes to fill and 4 and 5* guys arent busting down the door to sign here. Let’s the young guys develop while the transfers fill holes until Huepel can show better results and the recruits will follow
