Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss are 12th in the SEC. I think Lane was serious about wanting those other jobs. Best season in OM history and crickets on signing day.

He'll be out the door soon enough.

He spelled it out when he lamented the transfer portal guys are just free agents and what it takes to sign them.

He gone!

M'Bay has a pic of an eagle, a tiger, a hurricane, and a houston player... said he's signed his NLI... just hope it's not Mizz... if it is, then something is definitely shady AF going on up there at rock endzone U
Crystal balls on 247 predict Auburn.

He needs to settle in for another 2 years and hope that's long enough because right now ADs still don't want him. All those jobs that came open and not one even interviewed him. Point is ADs don't trust him just like they don't trust Gundy's routine any longer. Gundy played and played and ADs had to do due diligence with him if there was a chance but he's done it so many times no one trusts him. Kiffin would've been perfect for Oregon or OU but Oklahoma's AD can't replace Riley with another coach whose reputation is to flee big time jobs and I think Oregon had the same problem.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Ole Laney Boy was counting on the springboard of their best season to a better job. Now he is crying like Dabo.

This is also the first major job he's had that he didn't have Ed O recruiting for him. Say what you will about Ed O (and I think he's dirty af especially given what he did here at UT) but he is affable and can recruit.

Nothing is a lock, but if Hooker can stay healthy, I see four near-certain blowouts (for the good guys), don’t see anything scary about @Pitt or Mizzou, and not very worried about UK or @USCe either. And if not for the names on the jerseys, the latter two might be scarier than UF and @ LSU. I’m not saying this to pile on expectations, but I just think looking at it objectively, 8-4/9-3 is likely.

Yeah, i hear you. i agree, but might amend your last statement by saying, I would not be surprised by 8-4 / 9-3. I'm not sure I'm to the point of believing those are likely, though. I do think getting 7+ wins is likely.

Anyway - we'll see! Better than sitting around in year 2, wondering if we'll make a bowl game...
