Could have been covid related but could have been completely unrelated. Regardless, one athlete amounst the thousands and thousands of college athletes doesn't warrant what they have done to college sports.
No question. If Covid was dangerous for college athletes, the hospital would be full of them and the media would be going nuts with that story.

Look, I hate cancelling games due to COVID as much as the next guy, but, I mean… for the good of the country…

Cases do not matter. If 500 people have a cold, so what? If the hospitals are going up and people are dying, that’s what is important. Omicron is extremely mild.

As we have been saying from the beginning, and just now the media are finally saying it too for obvious reasons, Covid is primarily dangerous for an at risk portion of the population. We should hear our protections for them and leave everyone else alone and let everyone make their own choices

Hey guys, since it’s slow I want to share something I recently “discovered”. So, nerd alert; I like to dive into older music and movies a lot to try and find good stuff out there in particular before my time.

So, I’ve heard a lot of Elvis over the years but never deep dived into too much of his stuff, but came across this. This song is reaction to MLK and RFKs assassinations in 1968 and is maybe the most powerful and impressive live performance I’ve seen. What a voice! Just wanted to share the experience and hopefully some of you that have never seen this can enjoy as well.

Now watch this one! So good - every time I watch it I am amazed - she was live and he was a projection...beautifully sung.

Generally, I would tend to agree. However, while it is still early, it sadly looks like the Omicron variant could turn out to be particularly deadly for populations living in the Northern Kentucky/Southwest Ohio region. (Something about the Ohio River perhaps…) It would be reckless for a large group of people to travel from a high transmission area like Georgia and deliberately come into close contact with vulnerable Midwesterners. Unfortunately, I think best to err on the side of caution in this case. There is just no sense in taking the risk.

Edit: Joke fail. Of course, it is more the Ann Arbor, Michigan area that is particularly vulnerable to Omicron, not Southwest Ohio. 😉

The obsession with cases drives fear and fear makes people more pliable to doing what they are told. When they do what they are told a few times then they will begin to do it more without questioning. Or at least that is the hope of the fear mongerers.

Sad when you think about what we have been through over the last 15 years. May have not moved much in the top ten but to give up series to Georgia and Florida is inexcusable. I can remember when they were nearly automatic wins…..I know I am dating myself but disapointing.
