Random thought this morning. Was Joe Brady really a offensive wizard or was he the beneficiary of 3 Amazing Talents in Chase, Jefferson and Burrow who have torn up NFL the minute they hit the field.

IMO Brady and Ensminger combined developed Joe Burrow well and into reading D's and coverages to take advantage. Burrow is so savvy and mobile he could buy time behind their good O-line and the pass pro. Just enough run game to keep D's guessing.

Chase and Jefferson are truly elite WR's. Very special.

Better D line, Linebackers,O line, Mckonkey everything else about equal except QB.
And Saban

They are about as similar as rosters can get

I've been away from here for a few days. My wife got her eye gouged by our nephew and been making multiple trips to the Dr this weekend. Let's all hope she heals well. Should know soon how it will go. The little one pealed part the sclera off when he got her.

When my son was a baby he threw his arm back while I was carrying him and hit me in the eye so hard with a toy that it shattered a hard contact. No permanent damage but not enjoyable at all.

Kirby sucks. Once he loses, again, to Saban next week those barking morons will lose their minds and I’ll enjoy every second of it. Kirby couldn’t out scheme a dish rag.

He's only +2 over Richt because of how much turmoil Florida & UT have been these last few years.

Since 2016 when Kirby showed up, Florida is now on their 3rd HC (Jim, Dan, now Billy) and we're on our 3rd (Butch, Pruitt, now Heupel). Richt feasted in the East for a period when Fulmer was in his decline & Florida had Zook, then Florida landed Urban and Richt wasn't able to do much else...Kirby is feasting (but still not won a title, just like Richt) so whenever us or Florida hit on our next big time coach he'll be back to winning 10 or 11 and missing the championship.

I think the QB thing is right about UGA and I agree with who are you going to get. Before UGA fires Kirby they need to see what he can do with an Elite QB. I'm all for the chaos of them firing him though

Lol UGA has easily the most diverse defense in football CFB or NFL. They literally have a check or adjustment for everything.

Hesitate to post this but since it's somewhat slow, why not. 10 days ago I looked out on my deck and there was a hawk sitting on a plant stand. Didn't think much about it at the time but an hour later noticed he was still there and upon closer examination I saw he had an injured wing.

To make the story shorter I called the wildlife game folks to see if they would come and get to rehabilitate. They won't do if it's not an endangered species, said to let nature take it's course. Didn't sit well to me so a few hours later he still on my deck and decided to call around to see if I could find anyone to help. Finally found a place in Birmingham that would do it if I brought the hawk to them. So called a buddy to help me get him in a cage and drove him to Birmingham.

Going to take some time but he is on the mend and when he's healthy enough I'm driving back to get him and release him back to the wild and in his old neighborhood.

Gotta admit I'm going to feel mighty proud when I see him soaring again. My good deed for the year. Sorry for the long post but the guy who took in the dog on here spurred me to share..

What a bargain-bin hire for a half-assed idea.

I get what Fulmer thought he and Pruitt were going to do, but my god did it fail.

Fulmer thought he was hiring the guy that learned all the dirty tricks from the best two doing it in the SEC today. What Pruitt thought he learned under Saban, and what Kirby has successfully implemented:

The Blueprint:

- A central figure emerges in the program to circle the wagons and get all boosters on the same side/page. A TRUE alignment of support and resources. Saban demanded it and got it from Mal Moore. Kirby demanded it and got it from the UGA boosters. Pruitt probably thought he was asking for it, and Fulmer probably thought he was our Mal Moore, giving complete control and support to Pruitt. - we were doomed from the start

- The new head coach is a recruiting mastermind, and backed by newfound support of the program, can use any and all tools to get top talent. Pruitt thought he was this.

- Supercharge the roster by whatever means necessary. Play dirty. -- This is where we spun out under Pruitt.

- Proof of concept: Use the new top-tier talent to win games. Turn the corner quickly and continue feeding the engine with better recruits and bigger wins.

- guys like Freeze spun out here

- Legitimize the program: Leave the suitgates, cargates, paper bags, etc etc in the past. Lean on provable success and real momentum to continue improving the roster.

- Win a title. - Kirby's monkey.

- Some guys can get here by quickly accomplishing or bypassing previous steps. But they will never ascend beyond this because they did not correctly achieve the previous steps.

- Win multiple titles. - Dabo's peak. Urban's peak.

- Dynasty. Legend status. - Only Saban.
