23 has to be a top 7 class. Need to get that class rating over 90

I think that's more important for next year's class rather than where they finish. There are a few classes right now over 90 outside the top 7, so to me it'll be more important to just have the class rating over 90.

I think the QB thing is right about UGA and I agree with who are you going to get. Before UGA fires Kirby they need to see what he can do with an Elite QB. I'm all for the chaos of them firing him though

He will play the Williams kid, I think he learned from his Fields mistake. Eason and Fromm were one in the same. Besides Fields I'm not thinking of any truly elite guys he has.

This is the Saban effect. Kirby dumb has elevated GA, no doubt. No shame in losing to Saban. All close games. I would ask any GA fan who wants Kirby gone, what's your Plan B? Yeah Dabo got Saban, but he got 2 generation QBs in Watson and Lawrence. Secondly, if GA gets the OU QB, look out.

Yeah I agree mostly but there were a couple games UGA got beat where the final score itself was closer than what the game actually was. Contrary to how our game with Bama was closer than what the final score indicated.

I just don’t know if Kirby can beat Saban using the “Saban” model. Think he’ll need to get a little more creative/innovative with all the playmakers he has. If we had UGA’s roster, Heupel likely beats Saban this year.

Cause he wasn’t worth the market price…I am guessing that just like the inflated real estate and used auto market right now, his selling price was excessively inflated and he found a fool with money to throw away. It’s gonna bite A&M in the ass. They will have pruitt type mercenaries rather than players that are invested in A&M. They are trying to buy a NC. Used to be able to do that. New era of players though, Nolen is a prime example. How many HS did he attend? He is the epitome of me first. As we saw with pruitt’s players, they quit, fold or flee at the first sign of adversity.

I truly believe that we can win with CJH picked players. Look at all these players that are coming back instead of transferring. Look at how much they like playing for these coaches and they are VFLs. Sprinkle in some NIL here and there and let’s see what happens.

I hope you are right, that would make me happy, to win with a team of true Volunteers, a team that is the epitome of the ideal behind the name. We may never win a major championship with teams like that, but I will sure as hell be all in with them.

Guys can only transfer one time and play immediately. If they transfer again, they must sit out for a year. The number of players in the portal is huge but just a small percentage move on to other schools.
The players will figure this out soon enough and the movement will slow down considerably.

It is f'n garbage and allows the big $ players to just further entrench themselves. They will become nothing but vultures.

Hesitate to post this but since it's somewhat slow, why not. 10 days ago I looked out on my deck and there was a hawk sitting on a plant stand. Didn't think much about it at the time but an hour later noticed he was still there and upon closer examination I saw he had an injured wing.

To make the story shorter I called the wildlife game folks to see if they would come and get to rehabilitate. They won't do if it's not an endangered species, said to let nature take it's course. Didn't sit well to me so a few hours later he still on my deck and decided to call around to see if I could find anyone to help. Finally found a place in Birmingham that would do it if I brought the hawk to them. So called a buddy to help me get him in a cage and drove him to Birmingham.

Going to take some time but he is on the mend and when he's healthy enough I'm driving back to get him and release him back to the wild and in his old neighborhood.

Gotta admit I'm going to feel mighty proud when I see him soaring again. My good deed for the year. Sorry for the long post but the guy who took in the dog on here spurred me to share..

We’re not out scheming Nick Saban and Kirby Smart, brother. Especially not Saban. Not beating either one of those programs if your players aren’t as good as theirs are. I’ve been hearing the old “for the first time in forever, we finally have the coaches that can hang with this one or that one on gameday” spill for over a decade. For starters, no we haven’t, and secondly, that’s not how it works in this league.

The amount of opposing fans on this site continue to blow my mind. Here we have what is likely a GA fan. Dude, if we're so beneath you, then why are you here? Go away.

I am not afraid of Georgia, but I also think they win. It depends a good deal on Bennett, though. If he plays like he did against Michigan, Georgia wins. If he plays like he did against Bama the first time, Bama wins. Young is much better, overall and he could be the difference.
