Yeah, they didn't call a ton of OL calls on us though...I think more than half our penalties were secondary ones though and they had maybe 1 or 2...it was the biggest difference imo.

Called one on a Wright TD. I think our OL did take down the defender, but they called nothing on them all day. At least call nothing on both sides and let the better one win.

Lol I “take shots” by pointing out that judging things in hindsight is pointless? So when they got their highest rated commit after CJH left and their starting QB was seemingly elated he was gone you thought those were good signs?

Also I’ve been on this forum for over a decade and seen you’re posts through pretty much that entire time, and your two constants are that you’re not an idiot and that you’re smug as hell. Sorry if that’s news to you, thought you were aware of that.
Interpretations…not canon. I commend myself on only one thing regarding Heupel’s hiring. Tho I wasn’t initially jazzed, I WAITED before making declarations. Still haven’t officially declared him a homerun…I’m waiting. Too many were in too damn a hurry to declare that this means that and that means this…retrospect or not it was SMUG AF. As was your condescending last sentence. 😉

Do you have a SEP? If so, contribute 25% to it and reduce the liability while also taking the deduction at the business level. You can accrue this (whether cash or accrual basis) and take the deduction now and not have to find it until April.
We have HSA through our employer (family owned business). We just got hit pretty hard through our personal llc we started for hemp our company. Our accountant called back and has a plan worked out to where the hit won’t be all at once.
As for other investments, Fisher Investments handles all of that and we are maxed out on contributions to deduct. 😕

I like the positive comments but if they gave us the TD then Purdue still gets the ball.

So giving us the W - nah that feels like a stretch.

But taking the L - nah. We didn’t lose.
I just put an asterisk next to everything
We're 7-6* this year

Not sustainable as a working model imo. Reminds me when true NFL free agency was approved. It wasn’t supposed to kick in until a certain spending limit was reached. In one off-season you had BACKUP QB’s getting starter salaries to stay (Cody Carlson) and backup OL getting franchise cornerpiece salaries to jump (Don Maggs). There will always be bad gambles and resulting bad contract at the NFL level but it’s borne more of bad intelligence than procedure imo.

Best advice on any career choice is do some research. You can look at all the labor statistics for free these days. See what the positions pay, how many people exist in the field, best locations to work for the field, growth estimates etc.

I think I'd also advise HS kids (especially in smaller areas) to do some vocational courses while in school. Cause I promise you most colleges don't look down on you taking welding instead of an elective for another history class.

Everything my company puts in goes in the traditional 401k account. Everything I’m contributing goes in a Roth. I’m putting as much as I can in the Roth
Currently a company isn’t allowed to make Roth contributions but that might change down the road.
