They don't rebound, they have to work way too hard for shots, they get out worked consistently.

So many possessions guys just standing around, no creative points in the paint.

I'd rather they just come out with energy and move the ball around in transition. Maybe create more open shots or just pick up the pace to see if it's to our advantage

Watching that tourney makes me long for warm weather and getting back out out on the course.

Lets cheat too. I wouldn’t mind prying away Steve Forbes from Wake Forest… Would be the ideal hire send Barnes away with a nice retirement package

I'm for it but according to LA the UT brass is content playing by the rules. Even doing NIL as it was meant to be not the way the schools that are focused on winning are using it, legally. Be prepared for mediocrity. When teams are dedicated to winning and are willing to push the boundaries, they'll always succeed over the content crowd. Happens in life, happens in business.

Funny you say that, was talking with my dad, who played college ball and pro in Europe for two years before I was born and he said he thought he might be overrated. Said his talents may not be well suited for what Barnes is asking them to do. Says their style of play limits offense. He's not a fan of Barnes.

At this point we won't do any better than Barnes though. It is what it is.

This is what got him fired at TX. He just plateaus.

I’m more afraid of who they’ll replace Barnes with than keeping Barnes. He’s proven he will make the tournament 8/9 times out of 10. As frustrated as I am I’d rather let him retire here. May just be in a serious rut with some freshman right now.

I went through this a few years back with a cousin. Sometimes we don't realize how bad it is inside their head, for whatever reason.

I just try to focus on the good times. Luckily for us, there were many.

I can always go either way, but I'm not worried about Candler. I think he has just it a typical freshman wall.

That's part of it, along with no athletic slashing or strong forwards, we have tweeners.

What will likely happen is those recruits will begin to tail off for us. Once Barnes goes it's going to get worse for sure.
