I bet you watch mime porn too.

The things they do in mime porn are unspeakable.

Saban lost to two of his assistants this year. Just realized that.

ATM's push is being done the right way. They're dumping everything they have into the defense/LOS.

I would much rather it be ATM v UGA in the SEC Championship next year than watch Bama again.
the x factor is jimbo. couldnt coach his way out of a wet paper bag

Kirby and Ed O are proof that you don't need to be a good coach to win - you just need elite talent. However, Kirby might be the luckiest SOB alive. Even with the talent he had stacked UGA doesn't beat BAMA without those WR injuries and BAMA attempting to gift them the game at nearly every point. That game was the championship equivalent of UF-UT a few years ago (you know the game - neither team deserved to win).

Ed O had great coordinators that year right? I mean like ridiculously good I think

I wish we could play the “What if?…” game to see how reality would have unfolded differently if certain variables were changed. Single plays, injuries or coaching hires could have changed everything. Some less common ones many wouldn’t think of…

Riley Ferguson wasn’t injured and went in ahead of Dobbs at Bama.

Tyler Bray and Justin Hunter didn’t get injured during Dooley’s year two

Butch didn’t fire Lawson

9-3 possible, but 7-5 is still my baseline

We lack the competitive depth to be certain of a 9-3 season. We have some really nice pieces in our starting 22, but it's still going to be rough after that. But 7 wins is definitely doable, with the real possibility of more if we stay healthy, catch breaks, etc.

My baseline is 16-0, 15-0 if they don’t expand playoffs. I am not bashing anyone, but I just can’t call a game an automatic loss. (Not counting the kif/dool/butch/pruitt years.) Those years are best left behind. I grew up in the Majors era. Every game was a heart attack waiting to happen. But I never doubted the effort by the team. The above mentioned stains on our past did not evoke a winning competitive culture. When your coach fosters a give up when behind attitude, it filters down quickly. When you hear nothing but negative teachings from coaches, it affects you greatly and negatively.
We now have a coaching staff in the mold of Neyland/Majors/Fulmer. Never concede a game, a quarter, a play. Give max effort whether its practice or a game. Not once this year did I see any player with that glazed quitter look on the sideline. It’s so refreshing to return to a place where I feel awesome to see any and every game. I don’t ever want our Vols to suffer through the ineptitude of those coaches again. We have a winning attitude team again. I am so thankful for AD DW and CJH and staff that it’s almost indescribable. Did anyone here think that they could “change the culture” in 3 months (or less evidently)? I personally thought it would take a couple years. Now I see that the bad culture element left with the fired coaching staff and transfers. Anyone who is transferring out may be indicative of an attitude that doesn’t correlate with our new awesome culture. I feel sorry for those players because they have a chance to change their lives instead of running away.

In conclusion: Go Big Orange!
15-0 🤠

BCS absolutely got it right the first year. Then it fell apart.

Wouldn’t you agree McGill? 🤠
Well...I can't argue with that...but I hated the whole "mythical" national championship crap from the time I first started watching college football.

My Dad was never a big sports guy, he is a Vol, but a veeeery casual one, thus I don't ever remember watching any CFB on Saturdays as a boy, back then before cable all you could watch was whatever the game of the week was, and it was probably never the Vols and he didn't care about any other college teams, so he didn't wathch them, but he would turn the NFL games on after church on Sunday and fall asleep..so that is why I first remember watching NFL football, and falling in love with the Steelers for some reason as a 7-8 year old..I think it was because the tough blue collar persona of those 70s Steelers teams resonated with me.

After we moved to Texas in 1980, my cousin on Dads side that already lived out there was a huge Cowboys fan and we religiously followed the NFL, but when we would visit my Moms folks in Knoxville, my Pappaw was a massive Vol fan started getting me into the Vols and learning about them, so I started casually following CFB.

So...when we moved to Knoxville in 85 just in time for the Sugar Vols, I fell in love with Tennessee and the rest is history. As the NFL was ruined for me by greed and became more purely mercenary in the late 80s and 90s I quit watching it altogether...same with pro baseball(my real first sports love) and basketball.

So...in essence, because I was first an NFL fan...I have NEVER understood the inane way it decided "champions". I have always wanted at least an eight team CFB playoff.
