To this day I haven’t seen it entirely. **** makes me cringe inside
Recommended to my best friend growing up watching that movie. He is African American, at me than one point he looked at me like, WTF? Why are you making me watch this? Then we got to the prison scenes and he was like ok, I see now. Very powerful movie. One of my top 10 movies all time.

Anyone know if we are pursuing DL Wingo from Mizzou? Pretty decent stats for a true freshman DL. Went from 3 star .87 as a recruit to .94 on 247. Rated by 247 as top 10 ‘22 portal guy and he’s been in there for awhile.. what’s the rub? NIL chaser?

Edit: apparently he released top 4 a day ago, we’re not in it…

We only recruit offensive players

Easily a top 10 all time movie imo.
I wouldn't have agreed 11 years ago...but yeah after sitting through it again tonight it shot up my list of all time Westerns...I can't agree about it being a top 10 of all genres though.

I still say Open Range is at worst my co-favorite..I love that movie, I watch it at least once a year...such beautiful beautiful beautiful cinematography and a great timeless story and characters..Duvall and Costner kill it.

My co top three...in very slight order..
Tombstone
Once Upon a Time in the West
Open Range

I’m a western fan, always have been. Both true grits were terrible.

Speaking of westerns:

Unreasonable expectations are both stupid and toxic and do zero towards advancing the cause to the point we ALL want, and in fact they retard and hinder that cause.

That is his point and mine..I ain't gonna call you names cause you're my bud, but I 100% agree with him in principle on this.

They would still be better than what we got.
Let's see what happens...It would not surprise me at all to see Banks show the same monster improvement that AJ did his last year...he already showed massive improvement this year, and I have a feeling Beasley is going to surprise us all.

Either way..we need to get some good LBs in there for sure.

Love Once Upon a Time in the West!
I just rewatched Silverado and Quigley Down Under. My parents had those on vhs and I loved them growing up.

I just watched Silverado earlier this week for the first time in years. I love it, but it is not anywhere close to one of my faves. I also love Quigley, it is higher up my list.

The Outlaw Josey Wales is the best Western movie.
Mini series is The Lonesome Dove
TV show is Deadwood
"You a bounty hunter?"

"Man's got to do something for a living these days."

"Dying ain't much of a living, boy."

Still one of the greatest lines cinema has ever had.
