I agree this team looks off.I don't think this current iteration will ever really click. I just hope the next coach doesn't take us back to Wade Houston land. It sounds like everybody wants Barnes fired.
Literally just held OM to their lowest points/possession ever lol.I hate to say it and I'm not in the fahr Barnes camp, but they have checked out. Remains to be seen if he can regain the trust.
This team is not competing and has no identity on O.
Bingo. Non-basketball fans seem to be the worst at accepting BB losses.I think a lot of you have issues reacting to basketball losses like they're football losses. The games are important but they don't make or break you. Just have to make sure we have a good enough resume for March and play well in March.
Still concerning how underwhelming and frustrating the play has been
This is a good, not great team..they will win a few more and lose a few more and get bounced in the tourneys quickly unless they go one one of those crazy unexplainable runs...it's BB...it happens.
If I ever had to pick a random good, but not great team to make a run it would be based on this:
1) Great PG
2) Shoot a lot of 3s (up the variance)
3) Great D
Not saying it is at all likely, but that's the kind of team that CAN go on a run. Let it fly, play D...top notch PG.
I find this quote interesting. Jahmai is a FR who doesnt play much.
Thats why I find it interesting. In a perfect world youre starting PG is the leader of the team, but the world aint perfect. So was Sheriron Jones.
Anyone can be a real and motivational player and a leader. Just have spirit and fire. May not mean anything as a player, but it's good to have those guys.
Barnes is also pressing guttons here I'm sure...he needs one of the starters to lead.
Whenever the daughter goes into one of the internal monologues I keep thinking “is this family really from late 1800s Tennessee?” It’s like she lived in New York.
