Game environment is cool and all but people want to go to a winning program. Losing to Pitt is worse than not filling the stadium

That really wasn’t my take away. That throw to Hyatt was beautiful. There was the miss on the blown coverage that was bad. But I didn’t think he was the obvious problem

It’s really too bad that in hiring Heupel, we turned down all those Super Coaches with all those national titles that were beating down our door for their shot at that Tennessee job.

Lol!!

Right..I could see us winning all three or losing them all, but it doesn't matter to me, all I know is the team under previous leadership would have laid down and quit yesterday and these guys didn't...THAT was what I really wanted to see this year, I knew mistakes would happen, and I knew injuries would happen, and I knew there was too much "new" and completely different going on to be consistent...but what I didn't know was how these guys would deal with adversity...now I know.

I am ridin this bitch

Sounds like we have a lot of fair weather fans…. I will always support the guys on that field no matter the win total.
I don't think that means what you think it means. Fair weather fans implies there is fair weather. We haven't had fair weather in a decade.

If you want to love a team as unconditionally as a child, good for you. But most people aren't going to think like that. You wouldn't keep going to a restaurant that serves bad food and most wouldn't keep buying tickets for a bad product.

Arguing otherwise is just arguing against common sense.

I would say anyone who gives away their money unconditionally to a business for nothing in return is a sucker, but that's just me.

Good post

I just don’t understand how we can say this. It’s just assumed that another QB is better, which doesn’t make sense to me. Don’t want to start the HB debate again, so I will leave it alone. Just doesn’t seem logical after 1.5 games for a player.

And three years at MI. Don't forget that. lol

I don't see why folks do not get this. Milton had an entire year to improve himself after losing the job for the same stuff at Michigan. He was on that roster 3 years. It was no secret, he knew why he lost the job, yet, he is still doing it after fall camp and 1.5 games.

Enough.

Then why do we get mad at HT for going to Bama…. Why would any good player come here with that reasoning?

I I hate Bandwagon fans…. It’s why we have Alabama and Florida fans that have lived in Tennessee their entire life…. One of my good friends put its out Roll Tide stuff all over social media and I always ask him if that is new bc he didn’t like them when we use to hang out… Im a 76er fan and spent most of my life being made fun of about it…. Then they went on a run with Iverson and those same people suddenly became sizer fans…. Made me want to hit someone.

In order to get to 6 one must believe that we'll beat both SC and Vandy (very believable) and then beat one of KY, FL, OM or Mizzou. All road games. While possible, I think we'll be underdogs in all four games probably substantial underdogs so the odds are against us. We stand virtually no shot against GA or Alabama.

This is why I thought the Pitt game was so important. We are behind the 8 ball with that loss.

I think we win one of those. Pretty much every new coach we’ve had inspires the team to an unexpected win in their first year. I think Heupel does as well. Not sure which but I think he will.
