If you have 4 wheel drive both canyon lands and arches are amazing as well. There are so many places off the main trail in both. I was in arches one may and went to the opposite side of the park on a dirt road. I hiked and even ate lunch sitting in a big arch and didn’t see anyone the whole 8 hrs. On the opposite side of the park, people were lined up trying to hike to delicate arch. Canyon lands is very much the same way. Rent a four wheel drive vehicle and you can go to places and never see another person.

Trying to catch up on the National Park talk.

Went to Glacier last year and was blown away!!
Went to Yellowstone and Teton the year before. Yellowstone had the better pull offs, Teton had the better hikes.
They were incredible but very much paled in comparison to Glacier. I really want to go back there soon.
I agree, Glacier is a special place. We're also going back there this year, hopefully without an encounter with a grizzly this time.

In Utah we visited Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Zion, and Bryce Canyon. We enjoyed Zion but a few things were closed.

By far Bryce Canyon was our favorite. Amazing hikes and rock formations and views. I didn't expect that.
Angels Landing in Zion blew me away… there’s so much to do in Northern Az ,Southern Utah. Really really enjoyed Monument Valley and Antelope canyon

As far as canyon lands you can rent a Jeep in Moab for 24 hrs or I like to rent a Polaris RZR. Head to the needles section of the park but make sure whatever you rent has high enough clearance. Lastly, this sounds very touristy but I took the full day boat trip through the park. It was just my family and it winds throughout the park. The boat captains will even stop at your request in certain sections and you can take a short hike in the middle of nowhere.

We never did a 4WD trip, anywhere. I always imagined that if did it would be amazing.
