Kentucky has benefitted from an easy schedule for years now not sure how our fans lose sight of their schedule when looking at their wins

He beat UF and won his bowl game. For a first time HC in the SEC whom has never been a coordinator before? That’s an impressive feat.

Trooper definitely has interest according to AP.

Bring on Trooper and he instantly becomes one of the top recruiters on your current staff.

My first thought when hearing Trooper's name mentioned was hell no. But at the same time, Cut did hire him at Duke, and I have a lot of respect for Cut. So IF it happened, I'd be okay with it. But I think Heupel is going to be heup-er focused on finding a good fit. Could be a known name, could be a name from far-left field, but whoever it is, I think Heupel will be looking for someone he feels meshes well with everyone else. I don't think he's a coach that believes in just hiring a hot name to boost recruiting. His goal is a solid staff and let the results do the recruiting IMO.

They were both touching each other before the punch. And before that Howard clearly pulls his mask down and says something to Gard while trying to just walk past him without the normal handshake. The actions before the punch are things that happen often, without incident and without punishment. It's normal.

In no way does any of it justify a punch. And in no way can any of it be blamed for the punch.

It ended up the way I figured it would…. A few game (5) suspension for Howard and a small penalty for the Wisconsin coach( I was thinking one game but they fined him 10,000 instead). People were overreacting to this issue….

I literally knew 1 person on this entire staff, to start last season and that seemed to work out ok. Something tells me that I won't be in the meltdown faction of whatever happens.

Wait so we're really going with the "only" vs "Already" a HC debate lol...Beamer had a good 2nd half season but Heupel drove this thing from day 1 thru the savagery of the NCAA bs,one leg tied behind his back before he left Florida,to having them boy a couple games away from 9 wins.Lets not forget they faced 3 Heisman QBs,but yea Beamer deservers it..Dead horse argument anymore

"People were overreacting" to a coach bitch slapping another coach? You have lost your damn mind That is absolutely horrid and unacceptable behavior. Cussing and yelling and acting a fool is one thing, trying to hurt someone is another. That is assault, if the Wiscy coach wanted to press it, he could have him charged.

He reached over the top and tried to grab him…. It was open hand….. was he in the wrong? Most definitely and a five game suspension is just….. I don’t agree with assault charges or restraining orders either…. On the other side….. people are talking like the Wisconsin coach is an evil white supremacist impending the way of a black man while holding him and talking down to him….. I don’t agree with that scenario either….
