If CRB's guys play great D and rebound like they have, the G and JJJ play can carry them deep into the NCAAT. The X factor is and has always been the officials. We just ask for fair - call it the same with both teams. Our guys are basketball smart, they will adjust. They will need to lock in on the shooting environment of the neutral sites and play focused.

Once it all turned a few weeks ago after Texas, I posted I could see a FF this season being possible. Still do. Especially now that the light came on with BHH after the loss of Nkamhoua. This team is deep, the rotations are there. Nobody can bully them inside anymore and the quickness at G is incredible. Despite losing to SEC top seeds, Texas and TTU on the road - those experiences helped them grow and know what to expect.

Any team can have a bad game at the wrong time. Assuming they don't, it's all about the officials IMO. There are no teams in CBB who have better talent combined with chemistry when they are playing at a high level.

IMO, a top COY candidate is CRB. Especially if this team stays on track and finishes well

Have we fired Rick Barnes yet?

Vitello is next — can’t even hang 30 on Iona… smh.
Rick Barnes has quite possibly had the best home win resume for a single season in our programs history. If he can figure out how to take that grit on the road next month, we have shown we can play with anyone in the country. I’ve been critical of him and the team in some areas. I’ve also said making the tournament is always the goal and I’d rather stay with Barnes than risk whatever else our admin could find. But Barnes May be finally Getting this team in stride at the right time of year. Could be a really fun March.

Spice it up and pick up an EM-50 Urban Assault Vehicle for the excursion with the kids..

Mateos out of the running for UGA O-line coach per Football Scoop. We may be getting closer to our dream of Friend returning if they don't pick Studrawa.

That and/or a dominate big man. Guess we will have to rely on our guards.

It's weird...BHH and Aidoo have 2 regular season games left and also the SET. They are showing some promise now and have enough talent that in a tournament setting with a lower seed they could really go off.

Yeah, I voted for us.💪

How funny a KY fan is asking that question when those are the two most recent losses for his team LOL

I've been pretty lucky to not have experienced many bad fans from other teams for games I've attended (basketball & football). But of all the ones I've been around I'll say Appalachian State had the worst fan (singular, most were alright but one guy was bad). We were lower level around the 20 and he was in the first section of bleacher seats, top row and we were second section like row 3 or something. Most of you have been to Neyland, if you're sitting it's a good view. If you're standing it's also a good view and you're not really blocking the folks behind you...well if you stand normal. This dude was standing ON his seat and despite the ushers coming by at least 4 times he just waited until they cleared out and did it again.

Couldn't figure out why he insisted on standing on the seat rather than in the aisle. He struggled every time to even get up on the seat to stand there. So he was a pain and you could tell even the people with him were over it. He was rude as well to each usher. Worst part was he wasn't exactly a short guy, he was every bit of 6'3" or taller...so really didn't NEED to stand on the seat to see over anyone.

Did anyone see where the KY players left the court prior to the game ending and avoided shaking hands? Real character building there coach cal.

I didn’t see it but they may have been advised to do this because of the potential of crowd storming floor like they did vs Auburn. I don’t know if crowd did but there were some things being setup for it happen as Barstool Storm Chasers were making that their game to go to storm court for win. It was a big enough deal that the Arky AD made sure they were not allowed in arena so KY was likely warned of the potential of those guys somehow got through that it could happen. They didn’t get in but KY wouldn’t know that.

Tennessee makes a deeper run in the NCAAT than Auburn… ✍️

I said it.

I can see this. Auburn guard play is not like it was in their final four run. Tourney is when you get exposed for poor point guard play. Bruce is good enough coach I think to hide it into 2nd weekend because of his defense but not sure about beyond that.

If BHH plays with the effort that he has the last two games which probably is not a coincidence that it comes after he sees what Aidoo has done but those are the type of bigs that can help our lineups in a tournament setting if they are putting the extra effort to get the tough rebounds and cleaning up after our guards putting pressure on the basket. Aidoo really has a good ability of getting rebounds he probably shouldn’t get but he finds a way with those long arms to get them even if he started in worse position than opponent. BHH started doing this in mizzu but then really did it yesterday for extended periods for first time

I agree that our guys have good basketball IQ and can adjust as the game flows, but they don't always do it----check the Arkansas game with the charges.
