Actually the big change was in our bigs

Fulky had 9 (4.8 pg typically)
BHH had 8 (2.8 pg typically)
Uros had 7 (3.6 pg typically)

Those 3 alone had 24 rebounds and they usually only average 11.2 combined. I think Santi's 2 blocks were the biggest swing in that area. The first game where him being 6'3" was an advantage since KD, Green, and Jasper are all 6'1" or shorter.

I mean he’s infused some attitude into the team.

Her dad signed a contract that all but guaranteed he's never coming back. (It would've been nice to grab him after Barnes retired). That action broke the spell for Vol fans still holding on. Now, he's just another former coach. One we still have some feels for but on game day an absolute enemy.

The fans that were rude to her probably had no idea who she was beyond thinking she was some Auburn fan. I'm sorry but rudeness happens every game, especially when a team's ritual is to disrespect every other team's home court. That sets a tone and no amount of apologetics for why and how they do it changes that. She got some of the pushback from that and didn't like it.

This team at least at home has answered bell in 3 games where they were told their bigs can’t hang with the other teams and then we show up and outplay them inside in AZ/KY/Auburn. Need the team to play like this all the time with the extra effort.

Didn't we, by all accounts, like David Johnson here? At least up until he left and threw (accurate) shade at cornbread.

At least that's how I remember it. Would seem to be a good hire.

More to it than liking the guy. I was hyped when we brought him in mainly due to his “Coach YAC” rep at Memphis. Didn’t see anything to miss in his limited time here. Remember that Tee was hired to improve WR recruiting and the receivers performed better on his watch imo. CDJ did land some Memphis talent and that was promising, but his claim to fame for the position we’re hiring is Ramel Keyton. Before anybody counters, I acknowledge that Tee didn’t really improve wide receiver recruiting but I’m not advocating his return. Burns is an incomplete in his one and done. Can’t argue that the receivers didn’t perform well. How much of that was his teaching and how much Heupel’s scheme hasn’t been calculated. I also like the class of receivers he brought in with the handicap of the NCAA investigation considered. It was hinted on VQ that Burns leaving was encouraged and the staff wants an upgrade. If Heupel brings YAC back it’s his belief that he is such a thing.
