I think it’s funny how Saban wins a national title almost every other year with 4-5 different types of QB’s, but yet we act like Milton is the only QB that can run ours, and he is the savior.
Bama’s last 3 QB’s:
- Hurts: pure dual threat
- Jones: pure pocket passer
- Young: good at both
If Milton is the best QB so be it, but I’m tired of hearing he is the only capable one to run the offense, and at this moment in time, Heupel’s decision to keep playing Milton and hoping he can change he inconsistency problems could be his downfall. Will be interesting to see how much time he gives Milton because if he rides with him most of the year and the kid doesn’t improve, everyone is going to be livid since he was wasting his time on someone that has never improved since being in college.
Let’s say we get to week 7 and we are 3-3 or he’ll even 2-4 heading into the OM game and Heupel announces Milton is the starting QB, how are y’all feeling? (We beat SC by 3 and lose by 21+ to Missouri)
All hypothetical
