Two weeks, and this place are going to be crazy. After we beat Tennessee Tech 70 to 0 and Alabama destroys Florida by 28 everyone’s gonna be convinced we’re gonna roll into Gainesville for the win next week.
after our inevitable loss to Florida, this place is going to be ready to burn it to the ground, fire the quarterbacks, fire the staff, and set fire to the couch
gonna be fun to watch it in real time
This "gamer" vs "good at practice" shtick is getting old. We have multiple posters that keep treating that like its a likely answer to our troubles. It is a RARE exception to a rule and yes you can always find that exception if you look backwards. If you are counting on that athlete that is not good in practice but yet tears it up when "the lights are on" then you are going to be severely disappointed almost every time. I understand part of that is recent events. JG and Dobbs. But think that Milton is JG and Bailey is Dobbs is almost certainly fantasy. And it is certainly not a logical gameplan for the coaches to be counting on.Yes. Fans are allowed to discuss their opinions. They are allowed to say, you know, I wonder if Bailey would do better throwing the ball than Hooker. That doesn't mean that I think Heup is wrong or doesn't know what he's doing. Goodness.
It is certainly possible what they see in practice doesn't translate to the game. One only needs to look at JG to see that. Coaches can and do get it wrong. Last year, Dorkowitz was wrong starting that other QB before the guy they're starting now. Mullen started Franks above Trask. It happens all the time.
I didn't say that Bailey was a gamer. I get it. Some people think he's the next Peyton. But what I said is factual. Sometimes what guys appear to be in practice is not what they are in the game. We were told that Milton was basically Cam Newton in practice. Heup has said it himself, that they are shocked at how he's played because he has played so much better in practice. This "gamer" vs "good at practice" shtick is getting old. People can share opinions. I have no issue with that. I am pointing out that I do not utilize Freak's amazing message board (really Freak is a rockstar) for listening to the uninformed opinions of the UT fanbase. I love to hear about updates on recruits and practices. I know if that was all that was on here Freak would have to sell his summer home on the beach. I am just pointing out that it wears on you to hear that drum pounded incessantly over and over. I don't want to listen to some randos at Walmart discuss their opinions about how to fix the impending economic crisis either. No one is saying that.
This is message board where we discuss our football opinions. If you want to just sit around and saying nothing but "Heupel's got this guys" Freak would be out of business.
On the bright side, I don't see any scenario where we do NOT get to see Bailey this Saturday.I didn't say that Bailey was a gamer. I get it. Some people think he's the next Peyton. I don't know what HB does in practice. But I watched him with my own eyes complete over 70% of his passes last year, and I watched him in the spring game complete deep ball after deep ball to receivers in stride, something that Milton hasn't been able to do, and Hooker cannot do. Does that mean that he can do that in games? I don't know. But I know that Hooker can't. so I would like to see HB get a shot this weekend. None of this is controversial or negative, or an attack on the coaches.
Stupid penalties cost us the Pitt game and a defense that gave up 27 pts in the second halfI get it, but Pruitt was supposed to be some defensive guru and we couldn’t line up right against Ga St or cover a slant.
All we see at this point is a coaching staff high on a QB that through two games can’t make the important throws needed to stretch the field. It for sure cost us the Pitt game.
Many season ticket holders were grandfathered into a system where the initial buyer - let’s say 40 years ago - did not have to make an initial or recurring donation to keep their season tickets.
Danny White changed that this year - if you refused to make a donation to the Tennessee Fund, your seats were taken from you and you were reassigned to another part of the stadium.
My understanding is some people were told even if they made a donation this year they would still be reassigned.
I’d have to go back and look because I don’t remember lol, but either way defense didn’t do any favors either. Granted the offense didn’t supplement the defensive stops so, defense was obviously frustrated. Bad all around effort as a team regarding certain areas, the point is one player didn’t lose us that gamePretty sure they only gave up 14 the second half
Yeah, I heard one specific story of a family who has had sideline tickets for 50 years. They weren’t required to make a donation for those seats in the 1970’s. Anyway, they got an email saying they were being reassigned. In a panic they offered to pay whatever donation necessary to keep the seats, but were told the reassignment was final.Wait, did DW really do that? Now seems like the perfect time to sh1t on the season ticket holders. Hey, sales are then lowest they’ve been in 15 years, and even those are propped up by deferrals, but let’s still Double Gaulden the fan who bought in for another year.
I keep seeing people saying Hooker would help the running game since the Defense has to respect him running also. The Defense also knows he cannot push the ball downfield. So Hooker is going to face many stacked boxes with 8 men in the box at times. He definitely didn't help the running backs against Pitt because they stacked the box and blitzed more when he came in the game..I don’t think many are doing that. At least I’m not. I’m simply of the opinion that if we want to run the ball, go with Hooker. If we want to pass, go with HB. Pretty simple. I still hope Milton can figure it out bc he obviously has looked better in practice

It's not a bad machine. I'd rather put that money towards a new Mac if I were you.went ahead and bought a surface pro 7
kept the mac as wellIt's not a bad machine. I'd rather put that money towards a new Mac if I were you.
I think you'll enjoy it and find it easy to use. Sleek. It eventually will run hot, like @bignewt said. At about the year mark it will start to wear down and eventually run like crap. The dock for it isn't great either. Be sure to run your updates a lot, hopefully it lasts you as long as the Mac has!
Not disputing any of that. Carry on.Yes. Fans are allowed to discuss their opinions. They are allowed to say, you know, I wonder if Bailey would do better throwing the ball than Hooker. That doesn't mean that I think Heup is wrong or doesn't know what he's doing. Goodness.
