Hey, y'all...hope no one has killed anyone else since last Saturday! I've been on a roller coaster with my hubby. After Labor Day trying unsuccessfully to quit drinking, he used a vacation day for Tuesday then missed Wednesday, too. Wednesday night he prayed for salvation. Went to work Thursday. They fired him Friday because he sent a message instead of calling. He has done it before so they were just tired of the missing. So he had to drink Friday after a struggle. He called someone Monday and had an interview Tuesday and starts Monday. They are working so much OT he won't have time to drink. God has put the ball in his court. I would appreciate prayers for both of us. I am exhausted. I don't even like roller coasters. @nicksjuzunk could you give me the website again please? He may be ready to listen now.

I’ve never been an alcoholic so I’ve not been through the program but someone I know has a very positive experience. It will be extremely direct and challenging with no mincing of words. Supportive but definitely confrontational.

This staff has the players motivated to play hard and are having a great scripted game plan and are excellent making adjustments. I hate losing a game when we go minus 3 in turnovers. But these guys are the best coaches we have had here in ages. If they can recruit their type of guy then they will build this. Hate losing but hope we continue to play hard and coach well. We out coached that veteran Pitt staff and they know they were lucky as heck to win.

What don’t you like about the surface?

It got me through a year of a software engineering boot camp, so it did its job, but in the last year it’s had some issues. Main issues have been performance based. Tasks run much slower and computer gets much hotter, battery/charger issues, and every so often it get stuck in a blue screen restart loop which takes me hard resetting the computer. Macs will have their share of issues but with the previous Macs I’ve owned they’ve held up much better.

Just be careful. I don't begrudge anyone from smoking the weed but I do. think any foreign substance in the lungs is not good for your lungs. My dad never smoked anything. He was a body man in his youth and we suspect it was paint and bondo dust that caused it. Idiopathic means they don't really know the cause. They think it could be hereditary. He's participating in a genetic study by 23 and me for IPF patients. These things catch up to you when you get older.

I’m pretty excited to watch a glorified scrimmage. Coming at a great time. The coaches were able to see problems we have in live games, and now have a chance to fix them in live action without having to worry too much about game plan and winning the game

It’s nice to have a couple cupcakes before the Florida for a change. Used to be that Florida always had the multiple warm up games before us. Always felt we were at a disadvantage going into the game. Still feel we are, but for different reasons….

Prayers. Amazing that he dedicates his life to The LORD and God grants you all with a job not only right when you need it, but also helps deliver him from that temptation a bit. Our Father is amazing.
