We're gonna lose by 21+ no matter who the QB is... Grantham is gonna press the line and spy the QB every play to take away the screen game and the run if HH starts.. Milton opens up the run game with the deep threat that he can't hit

Was listening to Bleav podcast with Kyler.. He mentioned something I'd wondered about. Basically that Michigan broke Joe Milton. His HUDL tape has beautiful deep balls with loft. Something that Harbaugh and/or Ben McDaniels and/or Josh Gattis did with Joe while he was there messed up his ability to throw a deep ball cause it is gone. (for now at least)

50% passing in highschool and 4000 passing yards. nah

From an outsider's perspective, that's a head scratcher. If Milton is still Heupel's guy at QB, then TTech is the perfect opponent for him to get his deep throws down. You miss against TTech, then no big deal. He could throw 20 deep shots against them, miss most of them, and it still be a blowout. Against UF, those missed shots will be nails in the coffin. Oh well, hopefully he's much improved against UF. To his credit, I think he's been making solid decisions and it really just comes down to taking advantage of those open deep throws. I expect to see UF play up to stop the run and dare the offense to beat them deep.

He only attempted 19 passes a game in high school. It's not like his team was airing it out, but he was able to hit the deep ball some in those games. He averaged 15 yards a completion.

The ability was there and somewhere a long the way it seems to have disappeared and it looks like his mechanics changed some between high school and Michigan.

It sounds like he hits those throws in practice just fine...even when he was at Michigan. He just hasn't figured out how to do it in an actual game.

Been sayin that - vol nation just needs to start either an llc or foundation and funnel our dollars to a good cause....good cause...

We'll be down to 2 QBs by the bye week (after the Bama game). Maybe the bye week is when Heupel starts simplifying the offense to make it through Novemeber and you guys will get to see HB vs UK, UGA, USA, and VU.
