I have been under a rock all NFL offseason, was AJ Brown’s contract up? I hate everything about the draft. The religious obsession with it is nauseating. I have never heard of the Arky reviever but I generally just assume JRob is going to go brain dead in the draft.

The NFL has become finding great value so that you can get talent on cheap deals to go along with your rich QB, LT, DE, and CB. The money part is a balancing act. The Cowboys have drafted really well the last 10 years, but the bills become due after 3-4 years on their great picks, and they have to decide who to ship out. The Titans are paying RT, Henry, Lewan, and a few defensive guys. Brown’s bill was about to be due.

I don't think any of the QBs in this draft are worth a 1st round pick. Steelers will be looking again in a couple of years.

Burks was one of the better wr in the SEC, how have you never heard of him? He's definitely no AJ though.

I disagree, I think mid to late 1st was good for Pickett. He's the only one I really liked this draft.

It’s a gamble but if Burks is even 3/4 as good as AJ then it’s a win.

Championship windows are small and for this team to tie that much cap up in a WR that misses as much time/plays at less than %100 as much as AJ did would have been as much of an obstacle as a strength for the team.

I didn't like any of them as 1st rounders.. I don't think Pickett lasts as a starter.

AJ has never caught 12 TDs in a season or 1100 receiving yards. Not sure he’s worth the money he just got paid.

Burks has all the same measurables as AJ, hopefully he’s as productive.
