I went into emergency surgery about 3 years ago and had a couple tubes down my throat. The worst was the nose tube. They left my stomach disconnected from my intestines for a day or 2.Surprisingly decent , thanks for asking. Pain in upper right arm has ceased 90%. But numbness is still there
Lottabpain in where my esophagus and trachea meet right at sternum
Probably from breathing tubes jammed down my throat
Just ate and swallowing is good but awkward feeling but better than I imagined
On the mend thank God!
Still high as Elvis in a room full qualudes
A little dude nurse came in after the 1st surgery to "install" the nose tube. He tried 3-4 times to finesse it in without hurting me. He failed at getting it in, so another nurse took over.
She was about 5'2", 250lbs muscle, built like a bowling ball fullback and was either a street fighter or special forces. . . She grabbed the tube and rammed it into my nose. It dug into the back of my throat on the way to my stomach. Terrible feeling, but she succeeded. Glad she did, 3-4 tries from her may have killed me itself,
