Be careful, that's the start of a "political" discussion. Can't opine on Teslas, but as far as I know, any lithium ion battery will combust if it's crushed or broken. Once that starts it spreads to the surrounding batteries and is tough to stop.
I was a manager for a Tier 1 & 2 auto parts manufacturer and I have dealt directly with FCA engineers on many, many occasions. I will always be leery of buying one of their products because of it.He's not wrong, Rams with the Cummins are legit great, gasoline Rams are the worst truck on the market. Dodge gasoline vehicles are trash.
Are you saying I can’t take my Tesla on an airplane like those Samsung phones from a few years back that were known to explode after being dropped? Can't opine on Teslas, but as far as I know, any lithium ion battery will combust if it's crushed or broken. Once that starts it spreads to the surrounding batteries and is tough to stop.
Buddy of mine had an accident last night. He's lucky to be alive. Never was a Tesla fan. Damn thing caught on fire and got torched. Never in a million years. They look cool, but, I think they may be dangerous.
I got you on the Chevrolet side. Let me know.I could be wrong, but I don't foresee these trucks with all this new technology getting any cheaper. My trade is probably only going to decrease in value. Plus my credit union is offering 1.8% on 60/72 month loans through the end of June so I'm trying to take advantage of that. Think I'm leaning towards a Silverado LTZ at the moment but also looking at the Sierra Elevation and SLT trims.
Yes sirCan y’all keep my father in your prayers. He went in for a kidney stone and they have found a mass (unrelated to the kidney stone) and he has an appointment to find out more information. I don’t know the location of the mass but am still freaked out about it (he decided not to tell me until an hour before his appointment this morning).
I drive an 04 Sequoia with 230,000 on it...and the thing runs like a top, and it's a f'n tank, it pulls my heavy 22 year old 30' camper like a beast. What ? I have friends who bought Tundra's and both had problems. One is 2020 and the other is a 2019 or 18 and both have had issues. Have another friend who had a 2017 and he traded it in for a new Ram. I have a Ram that isnt my concern or problem to deal with. It is really all opinion when it comes to what truck is better. All i can say is go drive both and really push them. I have and bought the Ram. Now I will say my cousin has a 06 Tundra TRD with over 350k miles on it and never done anything major. Thats impressive.
I hope you think I am having a friendly conversation too. People in this forum always complain that we argue about the dumbest stuff. Arguing about trucks is something I know little about. I do appreciate the insight.Hell I am having a friendly conversation. Anyway you go your going to spend 65k on a good day. Think the Tundra is a little more in the 70s depending on what you get.
