Then you are going to need at least 14-17 days off...if you mean (I think I'm pretty good at decoding your posting) by road trip. We did a 10 day Cali road trip in Oct, but we flew into and out of Sacramento and rented a car.
we would fly to Bozeman and stay in Yellowstone for a few days and head Southwest through Utah, perhaps Zion/Moab. Then hook West. Id want several days in Cali.

Nick Saban: Alabama's Bryce Young earning near 'seven figures' in NIL deals

Found this article gave me q good laugh...amazing what a few months to a year does huh..the always equal line really got me tho

"You have to understand that everybody has a different amount of opportunity, relative to what's going to happen here," Saban said. "Everything in college football, everything in high school football has always been equal for everyone. It's not gonna be that way anymore."

"Aaron Rodgers makes $24 million a year and probably makes several million dollars in endorsements because he's the quarterback," he added. "The right guard probably makes a million dollars a year, and he doesn't get any money for endorsements. The same thing is going to happen to our team."

We did nearly the same, except flew into Fresno. What an awful town that was. Even our taxi driver called it, "the town god left behind". If we ever do it again I'd do San Fran or Sac.

We only went for a wedding in the park + 2 extra days, man you're right you need 10+ days there.

I'll never forget driving out of the park. It reminded me of driving through The Gorge, but on steroids. It was one turn after another being stunned by the striking structures and views.

We just chose Sacramento because it fit the loop we wanted better..I am glad we did because our last day we were able to visit Old Sacramento before getting on the plane, and it was really cool.
