We know Ruth would have bc he shot himself up with sheep testosterone thinking that it would help him get stronger……… Ted Williams used greenies which players believed helped with hangovers, hand-eye coordination, focusing on the baseball…I love baseball history and have read enough to know that those players wouldn’t have considered it cheating and felt that you should do anything you could get an advantage….it’s definitely possible that they wouldn’t have used but I don’t really consider steriods a big deal since MLB was perfectly fine and even encouraging the use.
