Are they really that far behind? Honestly asking. Did Saban think he could still do it by his name and the Alabama brand only?

They have a collective set up it’s just nowhere near the caliber of what we have or other programs like Texas, Miami and Oregon…so that’s why he has been crying foul over it

Caught one fish like that on Holston at Longs, on a wool sculpin pattern I tied. Had lots of other opportunities where fish that size struck my fly, but, the end user couldnt close the deal.

Christians Bend. Really need a boat to fish that water.

No, we realize they are in an absolute panic to think that they might have their cheating advantage nullified in great part and have to play for the first time by the same rules as everyone else.

saban has never won a single game at bammer under those conditions. He has always had carte blanc to break every rule.

It's why they are going thru the the SEC office and the NCAA to change rules in the middle of recruiting season to try to increase the leverage of the unearned and illegal advantage they have gotten. And since the Birmingham office reports to saban, we understand that they are leveraging a crooked advantage to win new crooked advantages.

And we also understand that our new AD, coaches, and Spyre are bringing it!

That guy could have been one of the best TEs of all time...not just here. It hurt then and it hurts now to think about it.

IMO it is up there with the greatest waste of talent ever.

Travis Cozart was also a waste of talent. Just a freak of an athlete.

I'm not sure what your example is but Cut is another angle to the Patterson discussion. If he had succeeded Kiffin, we would have been a much better and stable program up to present day. But the ceiling wouldn't have been acceptable to many Vol fans. Recruiting and adapting to the chess game which is football were major flaws to his portfolio imo.

Thanks blood. Went back work tuesday, 4 to 5 weeks early, boss was like just stay around here today. I made it to 12 30 or so and my feet couldn't take standing up that long. Today I went out in the field with a crew and made it til 2 30.. so I'm getting there. I'm back to church regularly too so I'm gaining strength. Need lose about 10 lbs chocolate cake though

He wasn't highly rated (presumably because he was from a small town/classification), but that staff loved his ability.

If I remember correctly he was about 6'4" 240lbs and ran a 4.4
