Thanks blood. Went back work tuesday, 4 to 5 weeks early, boss was like just stay around here today. I made it to 12 30 or so and my feet couldn't take standing up that long. Today I went out in the field with a crew and made it til 2 30.. so I'm getting there. I'm back to church regularly too so I'm gaining strength. Need lose about 10 lbs chocolate cake though

Good to hear man. You’ll get there. It liked to have killed me when I first went back. But I got a little stronger every day. First week was definitely a killer though

I'm not sure what your example is but Cut is another angle to the Patterson discussion. If he had succeeded Kiffin, we would have been a much better and stable program up to present day. But the ceiling wouldn't have been acceptable to many Vol fans. Recruiting and adapting to the chess game which is football were major flaws to his portfolio imo.

Much higher ceiling than the goober we got! Was that some kind of deal to mitigate Kiffin penalties if we would accept Vince's spawn?

Haven’t said anything. She just saw the results pop up from all the tests in her “My Chart” and read them. Still waiting to hear from our doctor to go over all the results. But we read them and a family member is a nurse.

Not arguing the merits of Dooley, Kiffin or Pruitt with the previous opinion. Said we'd be better and stable. Talking top end vs fan expectations. I don't believe he would have ultimately satisfied them...same as Patterson. Don't KNOW that Heupel will long term...but way more optimistic.

And Dooley was the best HAMILTON could get at that point...sad as it was. Remember we got turned down by Troy Calhoun before that.

One of the great things about being Southern is our accent's. People in Tennessee really have three. East, West and Middle all say things a little different. I was i n Detroit one time and the bar tender asked where I was from and I kinda smart a$$y said New York and she said "Nope your from around Nashville and I was stunned a little. She said she fancied herself an accent expert and could tell not only that I was from Tennessee but Nashville just by the way I said certain words.

On that same note a guy from Boston was working on a TVA job I was on and he was talking. He said "I can't understand why when you guys come up North everyone wants to hear you talk and when people from the North comes South nobody wants to hear him talk." When at the same time 10 guys said "SHUT UP" in unison......it was GREAT !!!!

I love it when Philly & Bronx people say I talk funny. I say “you ever watch Rocky?”

Question for our doctors: Wife has been having some stomach issues recently and got blood work and scans. Bloodwork and ulcer tests all came back fine. Had her scans today, they found a mass on her liver. But the notes say that they believe it is benign. She is getting an MRI scheduled soon now. How would they suspect it is benign already? Thanks in advance.

What type of scan?
If ultrasound, it may be the shape and makeup of the mass.
Circular masses are usually benign. (They grow slowly).
Cancerous growth grow quickly and irregularly shaped.
Hopefully that helps. Prayers for the initial impression to be correct.

People are terribly naive to believe the cover-up story that the NCAA is ineffectual and clueless. The NCAA is highly effective and lightning fast to act or to pretend they don't notice (which is also an action).

They just made two major decisions. 1, not to correct the obvious fake injury situation (which was a decision, not a postponement (a postponement is a decision). 2, This.

The NCAA won't do anything in football without the SEC agreeing to it, and Skankey reports to little old saban, the long-established cheater-in-chief. He ignores every rule he wants, and orders (through his intermediaries) ad hoc new rules at will, aimed at his rivals. It's amazingly corrupt.

Yep. Every new class that comes in will have to earn the right just to stay on the roster.

They have a collective set up it’s just nowhere near the caliber of what we have or other programs like Texas, Miami and Oregon…so that’s why he has been crying foul over it

Wasn't one of the hang-ups with Cut that Hamilton wanted a say on the assistants he brought with him and Cut wasn't having it?
