I was saying the same thing. He was in a bad slump and anybody who says he wasnt has not been watching. I just hope he stays hot.

I've watched almost every game, and I would just suggest looking at the numbers. Before last night, dating back to the start of the UF series (April 22), Luc was hitting 0.293 (12-41) with 4 HR's and 14 walks. He hit 2 HR's against UGA last weekend. I wouldn't consider that bad. He also hits in the 2 spot because of his OBP that I believe is approaching 0.500 for the season. He just struggles against left handed pitching.

So you think Kirby is running a clean program?
That's not what I said. Kirby is doing it his way. But maybe I should've littered the statement with nuance and mentioned how places like Bama, Georgia, Ohio State, etc have cooperation from the top down to hide their cheating and we didn't.

lol that was fast.

Going under the knife in the morning. My nose is, anyway. I'm having my Mohs procedure. The small scar story will definitely be spun to be the result of a knife fight at Waffle House with @nicksjuzunk. And @StoVol , I hope you're happy because when I started to type Waffle, if you look closely you can see that one of the suggested words is Wafflestomp. Seriously though, would appreciate some good vibes tomorrow.
Late to game, but praying all goes/went well with it.

Yes but he was staring down the dugout. I'm good with stare downs. He did end the shut out but no bat flips towards the opposing teams dugout. If they want a reason then say it's for player safety or something like that
I don't think that would be agreed upon. Everyone has to run down the 1st base line after a hit. Bats typically get flipped in the general direction of the first base dugout. Schools aren't always consistent with where they put the home or away team. So you've got a player who's jacked after a huge hit anx doesn't remember go turn around and flip his bat to his dugout. Boom, ejected, your walkoff grand slam doesn't count, that's the 3rd out, you lose.

Even worse, what constitutes a "flip at the opponent's dugout" could end up being an entirely subjective decision by an ump. I don't want Jeff Macias to make that call in the CWS with the game on the line if Beck pimps one and it rolls 6ft towards the 1st base dugout that we aren't in.

Edit: maybe you just say if the bat enters a well-defined zone around the dugout its an out and maybe ejection. Opponent or same team.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but 6 episodes in, "The Last Kingdom" is not good. All the characters are just boring.
Does it pivot and get better or should I give up if I don't already like it?
Loved other shows like Vikings.

"Saban said decided to leave the Dolphins after the team chose not to sign quarterback Drew Brees."

"Saban’s incessant complaints about Dr. Don’t Know My Ass From A Handful Of Sand have never made complete sense. Saban ran the show in Miami. Saban could have overruled the doctor. Saban, if necessary, could have brought Dr. Andrews to Miami for a one-on-one meeting with owner Wayne Huizenga. Saban could have done something if he wanted Brees as bad as Saban now claims he does."

"Saban’s official story on the subject isn’t surprising. By insisting that he wanted Brees and that someone else prevented it from happening, Saban creates the impression that the Dolphins would have been what the Saints became. And that not-so-subtle attitude undermines the special chemistry that Brees developed with Saints coach Sean Payton. Saban, a defensive coach by background, may not have gotten the same sustained excellence out of Brees that Payton did."

"The truth seems to be that Saban made a calculation that eventually blew up in his face. Instead of moving heaven and earth to get Brees (and, surely, if Saban had told Huizenga, “Sign Brees or I’m out of here after the season,” Huizenga would have signed Brees), Saban opted for Culpepper. And it didn’t work. Once it became clear it wasn’t working, that’s when the rumors began to percolate that Saban wasn’t long for the NFL."

"But Saban will surely continue to push his own narrative on the subject, because it’s always better to be able to say that someone else didn’t know his ass from a handful of sand."

When Dolphins didn't land Drew Brees, Nick Saban decided, "I'm getting out of here" - ProFootballTalk

This is great and is very valid, IMO. Thanks for sharing.

Did they tell you that going forward sunscreen should be your best friend
Yessir, and it has been for awhile. I am reasonably sure that during my Army days I did not wear much, however. I also sweat profusely (sorry if that is TMI) and have to be really diligent about applying more throughout the day
