I’ve long said that baseball needs more energy. It needs to evolve from the stodgy “unwritten rule” era we’ve been in to a more lively, entertaining sport. Otherwise, it will continue on its dying pace. We have an opportunity to transform the sport.

Make it so.

NCAA, SEC, ESPN...all the shot callers...they have missed on a golden opportunity this year with this team, a legitimate shot to grow the sport in a major way; a team that has all the makings to do just that, as Duke did for college basketball. However, they decided to show mid level softball, and put us on at midnight, and showcase our championship on ESPN 2.

Keep in mind a lot of this crap is research chemicals, long term side effects aren’t known on it. Not to mention some of the places you get it from you have no idea what you’re actually getting. It “seems” safer than steroids but we still don’t know all the side effects on some of these. If someone just is going to take them though LGD is probably the safest the last time I read up on this. Wasnt this what one of the Florida QBs added a ton of weight with in an off-season?

Correct. Will Grier.

They are experimental, but there are really no side effects. I suppose that if you took too much for too long....just like anything else....it wouldn't be good for you. The ones I get come from a reputable source.

I used to hate baseball. Boring. Slow. Fans being douches at games. No emotion on the field unless two players are jawing. I tuned in last year because we were good and I wanted to see what was up. I've watched almost every game this year because our brand of baseball is fun. I try to watch other games and it's never as entertaining. Our guys have fun. They play with energy and excitement and emotion.

There's still too many giant egos around the sport. Sports were invented for 2 reasons: 1. To have fun. 2. To settle conflicts without killing anyone. Anybody that gets offended when an opposing player celebrates and has fun is basically a snowflake who can't handle bruised pride. It ain't that serious

Unwritten rules were just rules that players enforced themselves….. the problem happened when owners took more and more of that ability away from the players.

What’s the reputable source? Can you post their website?

Same here. This topic and the comments responding to @Brillovol post (don’t know how to multi-quote) got me thinking about KY’s dugout choreography. I thought they looked silly & I made disparaging comments, but I did think they were loose & having fun. Curious what everyone thinks about that kinda stuff.

They deserved ridicule

This S**t pisses me off…the university needs to do something about that…I could totally understand if the university wanted to up the price on a regional game because the money would benefit the university but when season ticket holder’s have the first option before they’re even available to the general public and buy them all up only to price gouge like 200% for their own pockets then I have a issue…

they should only be allowed to purchase the amount of tickets that matches how many seats they have during the season…the university is losing money in the long run because after someone spends that kind of money on a ticket they more than likely won’t spend any money at the game..
