1. Nico Iamaleava: Tennessee doesn't often go all the way out to California for a quarterback, but the Vols were able to get Iamaleava on board this year. Beating Alabama, Georgia and a few others was a huge win for the Vols, and Iamaleava has since been a big help recruiting for the Vols.

Smart use of a loss leader strategy. They also keep a lot of prices low and maintain low profit margins on most items. They make it back on the membership fees.

Interesting business model for sure and pretty exploitable for high-volume households.


This also reminds me of a new trend of people buying the all you can eat annual tickets for Six Flags as an exploit. They go every single day, even multiple times a day. I just can't imagine having to enter a theme park every day and eating carnival food to save a few bucks. I'd rather just eat ramen, rice, and oatmeal ffs.
