I thought the same of Troy Aikman. Towards the end of his playing career, he auditioned broadcasting gigs in NFL Europe. Many still dislike his style but he’s a surprising success story.

The part that is circled, there is an obvious difference in color in the center of that circle from the back drop. It is more “white” than the yellow behind it. That’s because it’s the ball…..

Look at quadrant 1 of the circle. It matches the outer right "whiter" part more than the surroundings. Of course, it's a blurred ball so the image sucks regardless.

If you have photoshop, run the rgb on it and surrounding areas. That will avoid all human perception.
