I guess I'm not surprised. Nissan Stadium was the only possible venue and I don't think it met the minimum seating requirements, and the new Titan's stadium with the retractable roof won't be completed in time. Not to mention no/poor public transit options.

Nashville had like a decade to prepare the city to be considered for Super Bowls, World Cup, Olympics and still dragging its feet. I think the public transit systems Mayor Berry had proposed before her ouster would have helped.

It's pretty much impossible to have a big city without public transit. Let alone host major events, traffic would make it literally impossible for those extra many thousands of people to get places before too long. Nashville traffic is already close to unbearable without any extra influx.

What's the push back against it? Certain politicians want their buddies to get the contract instead of doing it properly?

Found out today our 15 year old kitty's kidneys are beginning to fail and so we are going to have to put her to sleep sooner rather than later. She is antisocial with strangers but she loves her family. Been a big part of our lives for 15 years. Gonna be especially hard on Mrs. Glitch because this cat is her baby.

funny, went fishing there once. guide was terrible, only wanted to talk about how great his wrapped boat was amd redfishing tourneys.

we didnt catch a single redfish, didnt even see one.

usually if there's two guys on a boat that know what to look for, they'll find em.

we did catch a **** ton of sharks, specifically black tips and hammerheads.

She used to love to crap on my pillow. As she got older and realized I wasn't going to leave, I would find her in my lap at night getting her pets from me as often as my wife.
