Hybrids. Bet that was fun. Good on you, jealous.Lost my mom in 2018. It was rough. I’m lucky to still have dad around. Hired a guide to take us fishing today on Percy Priest as a Father’s Day gift. It was hot, but we caught 12 keepers. The biggest was a 9lb 3oz hybrid. Great day. View attachment 464718View attachment 464719View attachment 464720
Your mom must have been 7 feet tall! How are you so much taller than your dad?Lost my mom in 2018. It was rough. I’m lucky to still have dad around. Having lost my dad in January this brings a tear to my eye. I was fortunate to have a great dad and it appears you do as well. Cherish those times and do it often.Lost my mom in 2018. It was rough. ASICS were a thing with distance runners back in the day.Went to the ASICS outlet down here in St Augustine earlier. Tried a pair of Nimbus on and was blown away. I had never even thought to try ASICS before. Made me wonder if there were some others as comfortable as those out there that I haven’t tried
So what’s the most comfortable running shoe you’ve had?
My wife swears by Hoka. I can’t get over their funky looks. I may try a clifton. It was one that I thought looked ok. I’ll have to check out the bondiHoka Bondi.
There was Hoka Clifton or Clayton (one they still make, one they don't. It was whichever they don't) that I loved too.
Currently in a Hoka Arahi because my running has necessitated a slight stability assist. Legs feel better, but those Bondis are like running in a cloud.

So sorry to hear this never easy to lose your 4 footed family memberFound out today our 15 year old kitty's kidneys are beginning to fail and so we are going to have to put her to sleep sooner rather than later. She is antisocial with strangers but she loves her family. Been a big part of our lives for 15 years. Gonna be especially hard on Mrs. Glitch because this cat is her baby.
