Wait is that a mechanic job simulation game? Haha

That seems to be a trend these days. There's literally one game where you have to work in retail. As if working we don't work enough irl, now they want us to simulate working as a game?!? 😅

People won't go to work, but they will play a game that simulates going to work? If you don't laugh you will cry. 😆

Okay ladies and gentlemen, all the benches are complete!

Slaughter commitment is very nice.

Let's get some more this weekend! C'mon Mauigoa!

Like I said - I love me some Tillman so I hope you’re right. Both for Tillman’s sake but also ours - we need to start putting more first rounders in the league.

I’d say Byron Young and Darnell Wright have the best shot. Outside chance Bru McCoy if he’s as good as advertised.

Tillman, IMO - I’m jaded because of what happened to Jennings. Now, I’m not suggestng CT is as slow as JJ - but it points to how seriously NFL guys take 40 times. JJ has all the intangibles, leadership, hard worker, insane highlights, huge catches in clutch moments, unmatched physicality etc etc etc but he was like the 40th receiver taken that year because he ran a 4.7.

Plus I do have concerns how scouts view receivers in this offense since route trees are generally simplified.

Lastly pretty sure this is a stout receiving class projected coming out.

Nevertheless, I’d love to eat crow. I love CT and I hope he blows up and is the first receiver taken.

I think BY has great potential at UT. But first round edge talent? That seems unlikely. He will be 25 for the next draft. 6’3 245 is decent size but not great.

He really needs an outstanding year (like breaking sack records) to have a chance. He’s gotta be a better run stopper as well. He is very quick though—I think he can have a good year

We recently got our two youngest daughter new beds. They were long past due full sized beds. My wife found them online from someone selling them. Then we turned around and were going to sell their old beds. We ended up giving the really nice one away to a family with an autistic child that needed a bed for their daughter. We have since been trying to give the other one away and just can't seem to get rid of it. Granted, it is not super fancy but we have had several people contact us and then just never show up. Why is it so hard to give away a bed that has a lot of use left in it?
Funny story... I had an office desk I was trying to get rid of at my office. I sat it out next to the road for several days with a sign that said "FREE". No one claimed it. I changed the sign to "$20". Someone stole it in 24 hrs. 🤣

I support amatuerism and if a kid wants to sell a jersey or start a youtube channel have at it. I don't support straight up buying players, especially not from the university/state. A stipend and scholarship yes. The rest? Go hustle and make your money. Sell cookies like Alontae did. Apply genuine fair market value to players who have either established ties that make them good pitch men OR play that has made that so. However, if they want it from the university instead of from one of these collectives then cost and investment damn sure better be deducted and a lot of players would find themselves in the red.
I assume you're ok with being mediocre level in perpetuity with that opinion. I have always been extremely vocal about my desire for it to be as true to amateur as possible...but in this era, if you want to win big, you are going to have to pay elite players, and aquire a lot of them.

There is NO winning big without doing that. I believe our staff can develop middling rated players into good teams, but to expect them to hit pay dirt while mining that level of players at the rate needed to compete for championships is an impossible task.

So you're saying name recognition is more important than results on the field?

GTFO with that. The only thing that matters is results. Heupel took a 3-7 team that lost most of their talent and still had a 7-6 first year. And yes, his record arguably should have been better but for some poor officiating, like the TD they didn't count in the bowl game.

I guess that’s my definition of hire. His year 1 was great.

People are so weird and lazy in those marketplace apps. We tried giving away 2 perfectly fine couches and people legit asked US to haul them 2 hours TO THEM for no charge or anything. Like wtf people...

If I can be brought back from the depths of hell I had fell into, then you can too. It is all up to you, and how much you desire to change. There is no shortcut, but if you keep taking steps...you will eventually climb the mountain no matter how big it is. Don't look at the top, just look at the next step.

The highest rate of success out there is Naltrexone while using the Sinclair Method. It is meant for cutting back, but many just stop caring about alcohol altogether. It literally rewires your brain so you don't get the psychological "reward" from alcohol. About a 70% success rate. Even better when combined with coping therapy. Though therapy doesn't have to be a part of it, research shows it helps. I've read Dr. Sinclair's entire metaresearch paper and it's really fascinating. This solution is big in Europe, but here in the states very few doctors know or care because there is NO $$$ in it unlike rehab and other solutions. It's an old drug that is generic and very cheap too, so the pharma reps don't care either.

Unfortunately things like AA have abyyysmal results, though no doubt helps some, just a very low success rate.

I also suggest a couple books that will completely transform your view of ingesting ethanol. One is Alcohol Explained. Another is Annie Grace's This Naked Mind. Her site also has a forum and a really supportive community that helped reinforce the ideas a lot when I began my journey of drinking less.

I started drinking too often and too much during covid. Not an absurd amount, but a lot more than I wanted. These things have helped me greatly and I really don't think much about alcohol anymore and when I do drink, it's 1 or 2 then I don't care for anymore. Usually I just don't drink at all, even for social events, and have relearned how to have fun without it. I've just lost my interest in it and I thought that was impossible just a year ago.

Hell no. It's against the rules and the university invests more than it gets back. 99 percent of players have little value when investment is figured in.

The players didn't pay for those stadiums and the gate is where the money is made. Only a handful of players deserve the big bucks. But my opinion on that isn't relevant and has nothing to do with what I said earlier.
It does have something to do with what you said earlier. It's just that I leapt to the next step faster than you could grasp the connection. I see you want to bring Pruitt back as a DC. Next you hate NIL and hate and mock Spyre, and want people to donate instead to the university. So I wanted to see if you would change your story back to NIL if I asked about giving Spyre's job to the university (i.e., granting your second wish, for the sake of the argument). You went to selling cookies. So, you did indeed recur to NIL.

You omit TV from your sources of revenue. You omit football from your list of sports. You omit the fact that our rivals buy players. You repeat the point that you don't want to buy players, as if Spyre were illegally buying players, which is a slander. You say that you only meant FL's NIL, but you said they have two good or great ones; then you drag in AT, who did not play at FL. You repeatedly exclaim that this or that breaks rules, which is a bizarre position for someone who wants the return of Pruitt. It also makes it appear as if you don't grasp that our rivals break rules every day, that unequal enforcement is a problem, that the rules are changed constantly, or that a consideration of how things should be handled is principle is logically prior to what the rules happen to be or to be morphing into at a given moment. You preach up "amateurism" as if you have no idea of what really happens, while wishing all the players would sell cookies. You strangely add that some players deserve big bucks. I don't really care, I was just astounded at your bizarre posts, and wanted to see what you would say next.
