Funny story... I had an office desk I was trying to get rid of at my office. I sat it out next to the road for several days with a sign that said "FREE". No one claimed it. I changed the sign to "$20". Someone stole it in 24 hrs.
Not been following this. But please tell me no one really wants to bring back Pruitt! It does have something to do with what you said earlier. It's just that I leapt to the next step faster than you could grasp the connection. I see you want to bring Pruitt back as a DC. Next you hate NIL and hate and mock Spyre, and want people to donate instead to the university. So I wanted to see if you would change your story back to NIL if I asked about giving Spyre's job to the university (i.e., granting your second wish, for the sake of the argument). You went to selling cookies. So, you did indeed recur to NIL.
You omit TV from your sources of revenue. You omit football from your list of sports. You omit the fact that our rivals buy players. You repeat the point that you don't want to buy players, as if Spyre were illegally buying players, which is a slander. You say that you only meant FL's NIL, but you said they have two good or great ones; then you drag in AT, who did not play at FL. You repeatedly exclaim that this or that breaks rules, which is a bizarre position for someone who wants the return of Pruitt. It also makes it appear as if you don't grasp that our rivals break rules every day, that unequal enforcement is a problem, that the rules are changed constantly, or that a consideration of how things should be handled is principle is logically prior to what the rules happen to be or to be morphing into at a given moment. You preach up "amateurism" as if you have no idea of what really happens, while wishing all the players would sell cookies. You strangely add that some players deserve big bucks. I don't really care, I was just astounded at your bizarre posts, and wanted to see what you would say next.
“Now”?….. you have always had to play playersI understand that now we have to "buy" players and the ones that have the most money will get the best so that makes me think: Do we as a fan base think we can get more money together than everybody else ? If this is our new mind set we are delusional. We have some wealthy investors but look at Texas, Texas Am, Notre Dame, Stanford, Oregon and on and on. hell Vanderbilt for that matter. If money is all it takes we better hope some rich guy, like the dude in Miami, that went to Vandy or any other team doesn't get a wild hair because it could really get ugly.
Think about this for a second, and please understand these are the musings of an unstable mind , Vandy goes all in sports. They have some rich donor that wants to win. They build a new stadium that seats 60,000, upgrade Memorial gym and all other facilities and then recruit kids to be paid to play in Nashville, one of the "IT " Cities not only in the Nation but the World. As someone from here I liked it much better when it had a soul, when a Beer Joint was just that and not a dining experience but I digress. Far fetched as it may sound don't poopah it too much, stranger things have happened.
You realize we have some of the richest donors in the world…hell the Haslams are worth 4 billionI understand that now we have to "buy" players and the ones that have the most money will get the best so that makes me think: Do we as a fan base think we can get more money together than everybody else ? We have considered that option. Supposedly the lady is supposed to be here in 15 minutes.

I assume you're ok with being mediocre level in perpetuity with that opinion. I have always been extremely vocal about my desire for it to be as true to amateur as possible...but in this era, if you want to win big, you are going to have to pay elite players, and aquire a lot of them.
There is NO winning big without doing that. I believe our staff can develop middling rated players into good teams, but to expect them to hit pay dirt while mining that level of players at the rate needed to compete for championships is an impossible task.
