That's o.k. This does not jive with his preseason analysis posted on Friday. How can a team that could " ...challenge GA in the east..." be #27? Hopefully we will surprise these prognosticators.
We should play Daft Punk on 3rd downs instead of Lil JonI'm not sure if we need to temper our excitement over the coming year or gear up for some "How Bout Them VOLS !!!!" I don't see how we should not be much better. Another year of coaching and preparing should only result in better performance on the field.
We should be: Bigger, Stronger, Faster, More Talented and better prepared..........this should result in BETTER results. I think this year will be FUN if nothing else........by the way 10-2 or 9-3, Top 12.
Yes, see below. It appears to be an average of the top XX of commits. Right now, it appears they're using the top 14.So On3 team rankings are based solely on average recruit rank and not a point total for each recruit?
+ The On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking solves the problem of varying class sizes during the recruiting cycle. It compiles the highest-rated commits for each team up to a total based on a rolling average of current total commitments among Power 5 schools.
With this model, there are no bonus points for having more commitments than other teams and only small deductions occur when a team has fewer commitments than the rolling average. Unlike distribution (bell) curves, this model doesn’t disproportionately weight a team’s top three or four highest rated commits and is a more accurate representation of an entire class.
Where are all the azzholes who were calling us 3 star U just a few days ago??
I haven't seen any of them in the Sham or Bradley threads, imagine that..
I talked to a P5 coach over weekend. In some cases NIL is very important, but in most cases it is not most important. Kids are buying into our staff and philosophy. It still has potential to cause division within locker room. Haves and have notsmost of these commits have visited multiple
times, if not all. (Chandavian only once, but Ek has been to Missouri three times).
These kids were not pressured to commit. The common tie that binds are the amazing relationships have, family feel, and that only happens when you dont pressure for commits. NIL is overblown.
Miami has never had a real fanbase...they are and always have been a garbage program. I hope these dumb kids like getting their money, but playing for 10,000 bored people in somebody elses stadium. If you have a wildman billionaire throwing money around at recruits, why would he be scared to throw money at new facilities. The stadium is a different issue but if they push to build back the Hurricanes bad boy moniker, I could see it working and growing their fanbase for sure.
